Training War Update - Day 693

Greetings eWorld,
Since we had an unexpected training battle yesterday, and since today's battle started 6 hours earlier than expected, I would like to explain what is going on.
Attack on Central Slovakia
Every Training battle so far took part in Western Slovakia. Yesterday's attack on Central Slovakia was a requested additional battle, which had been fully paid for. Participants in the Mushroom Wars won't be charged anything for this additional battle.
Training War Time Schedule
The next 3 battles are planned for Thursday, Saturday and Monday. Due to my RL work schedule, I wouldn't be able to start these battles in the evenings of these days. Since the attack on Central Slovakia left us with the initiative*, I talked with involved parties and I started today's battle on Western Slovakia at 06:07 server time. The next three battles will start at about the same time. After that, on Wednesday 21st, battles will then start according to the original time schedule at about 12:00 server time.

*I understand the basics of Initiative in eRepublik Warfare, but I am not sure if I understand it well enough to explain it properly to others. Could someone please link or post a comment/article with a good explanation of the matter?

Hi, I'll offer a version, for those intereste😛 You usually have to wait 24 hours after the end of one battle to start the next, because you lose the battle. (We could attack you straight after, but we don't want to do that...) Therefore the start time can only slip backwards, never forwards, unless you miss a day or do what you just did.
A country cannot initiate another attack for 24 hours if it lost the last one, unless there is still an open battle from a previous attack. As long as there is an open battle you can keep on attacking.
Before the previous Western Slovakia attack failed you started the attack on Central Slovakia. Before that attack failed you started the attack on Western Slovakia. In that way you could attack us continuously if you wished, and we would never be able to attack you back despite you losing every battle.
