The Rain Falls

Day 1,745, 16:30 Published in Ireland USA by Raven Anarcho

Lightning strikes in the distance as the sky above turns black. Rain begins falling onto the beautiful green fields of Ireland. This world's second strongest country is coming to our door, and we invited them over.

WAR

As Canada continues fighting off the Polish in their homeland, and Portugal begins fighting with the same enemy, Ireland has chosen to step in as well. This war could mean the end of Ireland for a long time or the eIrish could overcome the odds and drive back an enemy that the eUS itself wouldn't dare frustrate.

HOPE

The eIrish can only hope that Poland plays out this war ignorantly, spreading it's focus throughout all it's current battlefields. This is unlikely however, as Poland is one of the worlds most experienced countries in the art of war. Ideally, Poland will not end one of it's current conflicts (Canada, France, Portugal) in order to focus on it's newest opponent, Ireland.

POSSIBLE TURNS OF FATE

If EDEN for whatever reason decided to show true commitment to eIreland and organize a large scale war with Poland and it's allies, the tables and chances of our success would turn entirely around. I believe this is extremely unlikely, despite that a main reason for having such a large alliance would be to stand a fighting chance in a moment like this.

FEAR THE BEAR

It will be hard to get another country to get involved to help, considering we invited ourselves into this struggle. The best option I see that might be interested is Russia. The eRussians also appear to be bored of the usual skirmish as we have been lately and due to a common ally, Canada, they may be interested. This would nearly double our chances for success.

SMALL WORLD

The rest of the world seems rather unimportant right now, and little has changed since my last article other than the continuing of Polish and American campaigns.

MY CURRENT BATTLE

I will stand by Ireland in this battle until every territory we lose is taken back, no matter the cost. No matter how long it takes, we have to place our differences aside and accept that while this was nowhere near the ideal choice of an enemy, they are an enemy to us and a threat to the rest of the world nonetheless.
