Join the new world

Hello folks,its been a long time since I have even logged on to eRepublik,but with the current scenario,even with my pip-squeak-ish knowledge about it,I was forced to write an article as this scenario opens a vivid amount of possibilities for eIndia 🙂

DISCLAIMER : I am not up to date with the scenario so please do not be offended by what I say,it is all just an idea 🙂

Lets Get To The Point,Shall We

Well my idea is that,as I read in a comment on some eIndian article that although eIndia isnt strong enough to win wars on its own,it has enough capability to constantly cause some pain in the butt for some countries,so,what I propose is,why dont we become a mercenary country ?


Well,now that that is clear,lets get to the pros and cons (as per my limited knowledge of the scenario) :-


How it Might End Up Helping

1) Well,as you guys can see,we have been fighting for EDEN and will probably be doing so as mercenary too,but as a Mercenary country,we get paid for what we do,as we are neutral,so,Extra Money
2) As of now,we are with EDEN so nobody attacks us and we remain in peace,if we go merc,we will be under attacks and war will be more common a sight
3) India might actually have a value in the eWorld map then as it might influence some major battles 🙂
4) We could always favor our ally's who have stood by us for so long and help them and their ally's (for eg. Bulgaria) whenever they need,but otherwise,we might actually get an identity for the country,which we have failed to do so far 😛
5) Even when we are wiped out,Merc running will help us get money for our daily expenses
6) Constant wars might make the more intresting for new fellas and might help in retention
7) Getting wiped might help the country unite and fight as one again


Now to The Realist Point of View

1) As pointed out earlier,we might not be able to win wars on our own and end up being wiped out
2) We might run into Economical turmoil
3) Economical Turmoil might result in people leaving eIndia
4) We might face multiple countries hitting us together and might have absolutely no chance of survival or coming back on the map on our own.
5) We might lose many good friends (as in countries) if we end up hitting against their ally's by mistake or for reason

3) Economical Support after wipe-out
4) Might Attract Newbies
5) Might Get an Identity for eIndia

CONs :-

1) Getting Wiped
2) We will be on our own after getting wiped
3) Economic Turmoil after Getting Wiped
4) Might lose ally's (highly improbable)

My Opinion :- Well as I write this article,I feel I should mention my opinion too 😛

I feel that this would be a new experience for us,after all this is a war game and we have not had a war for quite some time now,and this would promote war head on,and besides,we might have some time to ourselves within which we could regroup as a country.

However,this is my opinion only and I don't know much about what is going on right now 😛
