The Non Existent Convention on Battle Kills

Day 2,903, 02:04 Published in Ireland Ireland by Releasethe Krakken

i'm sorry if this article is a bit load heavy it consists mostly of screenshots.

Ok we are all aware of the convention on battle hero medals and that one isnt supposed to take a bh from a guy with 700 + bh's but its ok for him to take your medals because the battle needed the damage or we would lose.

In truth the contention that one shouldnt take bh's is also running thin in the light of CO's and possible sudden damage the other side might score. in truth if you put up say a weakish 70 million a bigger player might not consider that sufficient or a MOD might not consider that enough. In short bh's is not the safe ground it used to be.

But what then about battle kills? Battle kills does not in the normal course of action reward rewards its only in some events where it gets to be chased.

Now lets look at this particular tournament at first it asked you to attain a battle hero in the winning side and battle heroes went ballistic I opted for the 3 DO option

Then it required the 5th highest kills in a winning campaign. Again although I were in top 5 for a campaign I achieved the 10000 prestige points.

Now at that point I had 88 gold . And it required top kills in a battle on the winning side.

So yesterday I used about 40 gold to buy bazooka parts till i had about 800 bazookas. Then I chose a battle but my calcs was off. You see in most battles top kills > 700. Wait now let's look at a picture.

My top energy is 2 times 3430 * 2 = 6860 in total. And here is the problem divided by 10 gives you 686 kills. if you hit a new level at the bottom of the 6430 it would give you another 3430 energy or 343 kills then giving you 1029 kills.

I was counting on it but then saw wait a minute I need another couple of thousand + 600 so that boat sailed.

At most you would aslo get 1 more reward and 10 energy bars or another 100. now I scoured and scoured till I found this 1 guy sitting on 743 kills. Remember I would hit 686 + 100 =- 786. A smallish total considering most kills was in the 1000 range. PROBLEM. So either accept defeat and the loss or be competitive and pip someone in the last gasps to the post. Which I am sorry Jmoraf I saw as the best option. And yesterdays battle also showed me one needed to start at 1530 for your side or you time out.

Further motivation: HATE THE GAME

Lets take it on average most players would hit that mission on saturday or sunday. There is probably 30 campaigns in a day. And as it requires winning side we need only apply a campaign with maximum 10 levels in my opinion. Giving us 300 possible persons a day who could achieve top kill in a day. But you have persons chasing the 40000 prestige points where one gets 1 prestige point per kill and therefore if you bazooked for 7000 energy would get 700 points. Anyway lets take a conservative third of that battles away and say it was won by people already achieving the necessary kills. So there is 200 spots available in a day and 200 yesterday and 200 on Monday. S0 600 in total. Taken division 4 probably at about 40% of players that would mean : 32000 possible players. So we can say 600/ 32000 = 1.875 % of players would achieve this mission.

In short sorry again Jmoraf but there was just too little spots available.

So I hit 750 and is past Jmoraf and then I noticed the little guy is going berserker. At that stage I was out most of my bazookas and therefore could have left it and have lost and have done nothing for the next couple of days. But personally I just said screw that I'm all in. And pushed the button and bought the biggest eb pack I could get 2000 energy plus 600 energy . And then i think i even got another 2000 energy from the rewards. in short I just hit till 1300 kills leaving Jmoraf 300 behind. At that stage we were at 1700 so I started dropping bombs to push the damage over till I couldnt score no more. Why I did that I knew that if Jmoraf attempted to recover he would do it in last few seconds and that like with me in previous battle he would probably time out but I lessened the risk by closing the battle earlier and dropping some bombs.

Final thoughts:

Given everything i dont see there ever being a respect the kills convention. the totals posted is simply too high in most battles. It forces a player to go all in and waste in my case 88 gold to get back 50 gold. Given the high ask from a player. My feeling is no there is no such convention and there shouldnt be such a convention. Even BH's I think shouldnt be sacrosanct anymore. There is simply too big hitters out there and one can never truly feel safe although that being said I did manage a 12 million bh a week or 2 back but never expected anyone to respect a 12 million score.
So besides the I wish you die letter and 50 Gold ( I spend more) I got 2500 prestige points which brought me 60 more energy bars.

So at this stage at 16000 prestige points I have an opputunity to finish the event like 2 of my other cleric buddies Nerusia and Biednymis.

Here is our scores:

Damage:

1.. 2 ...3 in Mu and like always

1..2..3 in country

Kills:

1..2..3 in Mu

1..2..3 in country

Final Mission:

I have a suspicion with rl time available to me I just wont have enough time.

Headless horseman took about 2700 energy to kill and 10 energy bars.

Prestige Point Equation:

10 energy in battle = 1 prestige point about.

Tell me if this is different for you.

So currently each 500 prestige point you get 15 x 100 eb's

= 1500 = 150 prestige points.

We therefore need extended time in epic battles to complete the 40000 prestige points without Visa. Actually you would then get 4 x 150 if im correct 600 prestige points per 500 and would not even be breaked by energy regeneration rewards.
