The Hungarian NAP - Is it legitimate?

Day 3,323, 13:51 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by Thranin

Greeintgs everyone!

I haven't written an article since I don't even know when. (Well I could always check it, but i'm lazy.)

I'm here to try to shed some light upon the most recent reason of Hungarian infighting.

Now, the situation is the following, today Hungary, Serbia, Romania, and Poland have signed a NAP which was rather expected or unexpected depending on your situation and up-to-dateness on the current situation.

Now the question of a NAP which was highly debated for almost 4 weeks now, was suggested to a referendum recently, in which it was a close affair, we could call it 50/50, we won't go into details, nor will I tell my opinion on the whole Vote the comment if you agree or the other comment if you don't. the only thing that matters is that it's 50/50.

So then it was proposed that it should also be voted by the congress, which has ultimately vetoed the signing of a NAP, which the Hungarian president(Jaca23), willfully and knowingly of the result ignored, again I won't disclose my personal opinion on the matter as it doesn't matter from your standpoint what I think, those that are interested can ask me in PM.

So the matter is, the populace was split 50/50 about the matters, and the congress vetoed the signature of the NAP, yet the President signed it anyways, there is a huge debate currently going on, by both sides, whether it was legal and legitimate to sign the NAP or not, you can all decide that yourselves.

However the Hungarian Government, has decided that it is legitimate, so until an impeachment goes through, or any of the other signing countries deny its legitimacy, it is considered legitimate, with those who don't agree with the NAP have reportedly resigned.

Thanks for reading, I hope I could explain the situation somewhat well.
