THE GATEWAY DRUG ['unintentionally a military edition' edition]

Day 604, 18:28 Published in Ireland Ireland by Sean Power
Hello and welcome to the 1st edition of this sparkly new magazine! Just a quick word on the name. Why Gateway? I hope this to be your portal to a range of different areas including foreign news, forum threads, youtube videos and much much more (rea😛 anything else I can think of to throw in!) I aim to write some original economic and political analysis or opinion at least once a week.

But my mammy says drugs are bad Sean? Not this one my unenlightened little friend Timmy. *condescending pat on the head* The aim of course is to have you, the reader, coming back for more. Moar of this paper..... moar of the forums.... moar of eIreland..... moar of eRepublik! Getting hooked ..... drugs...... ehh it's the best I could think up late at night 🙂

Firstly if you'd like to cast your gaze to either side of yourself you will see a World War is taking place. I feel obliged to give some information on this situation as an informed public is a battle ready public!

Miltary News
The latest update is that eUK have taken possession of Nova Scotia in Canada from the French by agreement between their respective governments. Canada now needs to go to war with the UK to invade this region. I think this will eventually also have the effect of slightly hindering any eUK citizens wanting to travel to defend Canada by requiring the use of 2 moving tickets to get there.
This information comes from eUK PrimeMinister press release

The French however have continued on towards Newfoundland and Labradur. As I type France (inc 7 allies) and Canada (inc. 13 allies.... One of which is UK!) are battling it out over this region. With 15 hours to go in the battle the wall is at approximately 58k. At the moment the battle heroes on either side are Hungarian and Spanish with -4,560 and +9135 respectively. It should be noted that should France occupy this region we here in eIreland will have a new neighbour in the form of the French.
