As everyone can recall one gets a mercenary medal when one completes 25 kills for 50 nations.

A MU Commander ,2nd commander and captain can set Daily Orders for

1. Fights his own nations is involved in.
2. Fights his MPP 'd allies is involved in.

For the MU Commander it is, however, possible to set Daily Orders for all nations regardless whether his own nation has a MPP with them or not.

To do this set your top priority to 5 non MPP nation.

Do not select DO's the system will automatically select one of these nations as Daily Order when there is no DO's

.OFC completing Mercenary medals pre supposes fighting against your allies and your own nation on occasions. however, you only need 25 kills. So unless there is no one in the fight its very unlikely that your 25 kills will have an effect on the battle.

Im currently on 47/50 kills but is left with nations that mostly do not fight.

Its also a good idea to leave nations that is often engaged in battle for your last 5 nations. And to prioritize rarer fights at the start of the mercenary medal.

I think there was some calculation that hunting FF medals is much more profitable than hunting Merc medals. Not sute if thats still true though...

Any recent calculations?

yes but why do one need to chose the one over the other. in fact i only noticed i was on 45/50 yesterday.so now i can just complete it and get i think 5 gold or is it cash cant even remember.

You get 1000 instead of 5 gold. It was changed on day 2610.

somewhere around 33-34 you were breaking even with the costs of food and q4 weps but now the gold price is doubled while your costs remain the same so i guess you can opt for more
*if you dont have IK and can afford the exp loss

yes perhaps it does not pay off as in produce a real profit but that is all down to plato not being able to do basic maths.
