It is the nature of games to progress. Since the last Training Ground change, you should have banked enough gold from extra SS medals to be able to afford a Q4 of the Free Grounds, at the least. Unless you Full Train daily, in which case... you're already buying gold.
Nobody panic, keep the toys in the pram, everything will be alright.
