pure AC i just happened to study anthropology. The statement that you cant determine their ethnic composition from their appearance is probably the most idiotic thing i have heard in my life coming from someone who claims to be a History professional. of course this would be the starting point but still it would give clues. one can determine age/gender from bones. carbon dating their bones one can determine when they lived . but from a real life human specimen. yes sure.

lol Read the article you linked. The term race grew out of 19th century colonialism and most don't use the term as it is "problematic". So you see that even anthropologists don't like the term as they consider it outdated and full of issues.
