Sad Saffa Manne for CP - My appeal

Day 2,447, 05:25 Published in South Africa South Africa by Saffa Manne
Greetings fellow eSA citizens

(Oh well, here goes nothing...)

It's that time again when one of us in the minority decides to throw their hat in for CP. I have the great pleasure (sarcasm emphasised) to announce that I have decided to run for CP or rCP or whatever we call it these days but I do so with a heavy heart, and I'll tell you why. Sit back and relax as I plead my case, if it's even worth it.

In eRep terms I'm still new around here but I've seen a lot change, experienced most of what there is to experience and been actively involved in eSA since the beginning.

First 'old' forum post.

“Welcome”

Ah, yes, I remember those days. Strong community, active forum, fun, jokes, laughter, learning, strategies, initiatives, we had it all. Sure the community wasn't big but we were active man, sheeeesh, we were active. And there were people from all over the eWorld. Everyone that was willing to be a part of it could join. The community was the heart of it all! Looking back at those times it's really sad to see where we are now...

Then Lazokrazi infiltrated and slowly increased their numbers. They always had a plan from the beginning and if only we knew what their final plan was... if only we knew.

But, there is no point in crying over spilled milk we must look forward. We must keep walking and learn from the past. I've always had that attitude from the beginning. I've been active in eRep and eSA and have tried real hard to grow the community, look after the weaker/younger players and provide a platform for the community to grow.

Remember the old MoDA STR?

So finally I decide to run for CP. I relished the opportunity to run for CP and lead eSA forward to something bigger and better.... but what's the point now!?

I can't help anyone while Lazokrazi has such a tight grip on eSA.

I can only run for CP that represents the minority now. We call it the rCP (sigh). I never thought this is how it would be but this is the deal I've been dealt. There's not much I can do as the rCP. All I can do is publicly appeal to Lazokrazi to show some goodwill to the people I hope to represent. Even if it's goodwill towards the newer non-Lazo players that trickle in every now and again. What kind of eSA do they have? We're an oppressed community with a bleak future! You're killing a whole eCountry's community here and I know that was not the original intention cemmo!

We're down and out and just trying to get by without any support from our eGovernment. It's no joke man!

Anyways, this is more an appeal to those that hold the power than an article to present my candidacy for CP/rCP, or whatever it is now.

I'm probably going to get shot at by people in my own community for even putting out this sob story but I have to try. I'll never give up, I'll never leave, I'll always be fighting for my community (with guns or with diplomacy) and I hope it will change. It's time for change....

Proudly eSouth African!
