Escribo este artículo para agradecer a todos los que han colaborado hoy en la consecución del salitre, así como a quienes nos han ayudado en los anteriores intentos en los que fallamos. Es fantástico ver jugadores de todas las nacionalidades dispuestos a ayudar, la predisposición de tantos de ustedes a dar una mano a Cuba, aún cuando no tendrían por qué hacerlo.

I write this article to thank all who today have collaborated on the achievement of saltpeter, as well as to those who had helped us in previous attempts when we failed. It is fantastic to see players of all nationalities, willing to help, the willingness of so many of you to offering a hand to help Cuba, even when you don't have no reason to do it.





Quiero agradecer, claro está, a todos los cubanos que llevan todo el mes dejándose la piel. Este torneo es más complicado para nuestro país de lo que lo es para otros por lo diverso de nuestras procedencias, lo cual conlleva una diferencia horaria que obliga a europeos y latinoamericanos a tener que trasnochar o a despertarse a las tantas de la madrugada para poder acoplarse y coordinarse. Además, ver cómo tantos compatriotas consiguen dejar de lado las diferencias políticas buscando un futuro mejor para toda la nación es algo que me alegra y me enorgullece formar parte de esto.

I also want to thank, of course, to all Cubans who have been puting their hearts and souls to help Cuba since the beggining of the month. This tournament is more complicated for our country than it is for others because of the diversity of our origins, which entails a time difference forcing Europeans and Latin Americans to have to stay up late or wake up in the morning in order to be able to coordinate. In addition, seeing how many compatriots manage to set aside political differences looking for a better future for the nation is something I that pleases and I am proud to be part of this.



Sé que no queda bonito agradecer a individuos en artículos como este, ya que por nombrar podría nombrar decenas de jugadores que han aportado su parte en este mes, pero quiero dar un agradecimiento especial a General Dmitri -NachoKiller- y Runy69 que han ayudado con la organización en horario europeo, y sin quienes este recurso no hubiese sido posible.

I know it is not nice to thank individuals in articles like this, because that name I could name dozens of players who have contributed with their part in this month, but I want to give a special thanks to General Dmitri - NachoKiller - and Runy69 who have helped with the organisation in european time, without who having this resource wouldn't be possible.



Y, aunque nos queda todavía un recurso por conseguir, creo que es momento para tomar un respiro y pensar...y como lo prometido es deuda..

And, although we still have a resource to get, I think that it is time to take a breath and think... and as promised is debt...
