Remember Remember Elections in November

I come to you today not as CP, or any affiliation with any MU or party. I come to you today as a South African.

A month back myself and Claudio who I regard as a great friend locked horns over the CP race. We had some different opinions and some different goals but we also had one main goal.

It was to bring excitement back to election time. We had a full go at each other with our campaigns knowing that whatever was said was not to be taken in a hurtful manner but merely that we were playing the campaign game. One candidate makes his move and the other responds, trying to outwit and outplay his opponent.

I myself am very excited about this election coming up, because I believe it is going to be exciting, it is going to be close and both candidates would be great for this country.

Let’s have a look at what we have here:

Had3z vs Wildeboer(aka Wilpanzer1)

Both have been playing for a while now, both have had unsuccessful attempts at CP before, Had3z had a couple close calls losing out narrowly to Enriche2Ribeiro and Rico Suave. While Will pulled out of the elections because I think he took some questioning a bit too personally. This is not necessarily a bad thing as it shows his emotion and passion for the country, and there have been many great passionate leaders in the past.

So we have Had3z, the guy who always gets back up and dust himself of and plunges back into the fight against the passionate Wildeboer.

They are both PP's of their respected parties, RISE and UP. From my experience Had3z has actually been running the party better than I was, we actually use our IRC channel and he gets on our backs about getting things done. Will to is a great leader of his party, I have seen a renewed vigour in UP since his return and it is good to see that politics is alive in South Africa again.

They both are involved in die hard MU's. Had3z marching around with his Marines badge proudly on his chest and Will beating his chest every time a fellow DB'er walks by. These are both well respected and very affective MU's that these candidates bring to the table.

In would like to round this off by saying it is not about the party they represent it is about what they bring to the table. What are their goals and ambitions? What suits you? You have a right to vote and you may choose to vote because of the candidate’s goals, you may also choose to vote because of friendship or party affiliation. You also and I do stress this have the right not to vote, if you do not believe or are entirely convinced by either of these candidates, you don’t have to vote. It is a feature I see on the forum to abstain but not in game.

It is up to South Africa to decide who will lead us next; I am anxiously waiting to see this battle unfold and what the next move will be.

To Had3z and Wildeboer, the next move is yours...
