It is time. This has been going on far too long now. We are losing this war miserably and have not even managed to send the weakest enemies home, we are suffering from internal fighting and recently high treason when our and our allies battle plans were published in a public article. As some might have read in this article our CP is completely impotent in times of war, he actually needs to run to an institution to ask for money in times where he should not have to.
We are at war people, and it will take a long time to push them back, but it can be done if planned properly and if we have a CP that do not need to ask for permission to support the costs of war. It’s not a politician that has his promises and spends time talking that we need, we need someone that gets things done in this war. We need a dictator, not the dictators that we have today in Kim Jong-un or Fidel Castro, we need a what the Romans called “Rei gerundae causa”, latin for “For the matter to be done”.
I am meaning taking the game away from the meta-gamers, why should they be able to decide if we are or are not allowed to spend money to support our warfare?
10 days have passed since the election, and so far we have not even managed to take 1 step forward, but actually taken steps backwards with this internal fighting and treason.
I will run in the CP election this coming month, not as your ordinary CP candidate but as a dictator for one month to get things done. It is time.
This is just the first article to get it out there, more will follow as time gets closer to the election.

A dictator in the sense of Cincinnatus would be good, as long as everything is done properly. At least in this case the term is truly limited. You need to sweep away the entire Cabinet and all the meta-game institutions. Instead co-ordinate efforts and funding properly. Don't expect Congress to be co-operative though. I'd advise cultivating relations with individual Congress members. Then quietly retire back to the farm.
Except that cabinet positions are technically in-game positions now. Most meta-game institutions are actually in-game, but simply organized by the meta-game. Congress, foreign relations, alliances, parties, etc. all require this because the game does not provide a strong enough infrastructure for them.

Congress controls money, NEs, and MPPs in-game, and can take that power away from the CP. Unless you personally control a majority of congressman (2/3rds for NE), you cannot be a dictator in the game.
Wrong about 1 thing, they do not control the money unless they impeach the president to get someone who they control. The CP got full control of the organisations and can't be locked out from them. Sure they can vote to not transfer more money there, but they can't lock the CP away from what's already there. Unless of course they want to commit treason and have the CP before remove it just before the election is done or those who got access steal it before the passwords are changed.
And yes they can control NEs and MPPs, if they really want to hurt the country they can just disobey, but then everyone will just see what they really are. What they can't control though is military movements in RWs.

Yes, which needs to be done now. If I win I surely hope that the congress will not try to block it by refusing NEs or MPPs, that just hurts the country.
The senate ended up stabbing to death the last man they appointed dictator. There is a reason we have checks and balances. Congress wont just let a CP start spending wildly from the treasury.
That was because he abused it, before that it was used with great success. I am okay with them seeing what it's spent on, not like the money would be spent without writing down how it was, and not like all the money would be spent. But that a CP can be denied money to support warfare when we're wiped is beyond ridiculous.
