Random Bureaucracy Not at Work
Myung Kei
It is that time of the month again, where 'congress' is ending its month's session and preparing for this months congress elections in due haste. With all the recent proposals, including army budgets/updates, new citizenship ideas, downgrading old government companies, as well as the infamous motion by the eDiet to leave Sol, it is alot to keep track of...but now there is another part of the year that last time caused alot of trouble.
End of Term Congress Proposals, or AKA "lulz legislation"
Last month, a some articles were circulating by a few eJapanese citizens about how our congressman were proposing obscure proposals such as:
-Printing 1 JPY
-Rasing minumum wage to astronomical levels (+100 JPY)
-Tinkering with tax levels at random percentages
-etc. etc.
These articles called for the official condemnation of our congressman and the blocking of such proposals. While it may be known for a firm majority of eJapanese people and all of the eDiet, it never hurts to tell everyone again:
Don't Panic!
Don't worry about the legislation, while it may be obscure at first, in reality behind closed doors (aka the congress chambers) the eDiet prepares to give out free experience points to itself. This is achieved by having all of the congressman propose random laws and to gain additional experience points via votes on said laws. The votes do not have to be 'yes' so many vote 'no' to defeat the bills anyway. If said method is not used, it is quite a waste for congressmembers as well as other government officials who could use the experience points.
So sit back and relax, your congressman know what they are doing!
(Vote to keep the sanity!

Well written. If only all of us could have such a level head, and not jump to worrying so much.

I hope you are more sensible than the Indonesian congress, they passed the minimum wage yesterday to increase minimum wage to 5INR. And to understand the scale of that, that's the wage level typically for lvl3 skill workers.
Thank you for the advice and explanation.
