So let's just take the emotion out of this new controversy by crunching some numbers. But before we do this, let me point out that I have no issues in advancing my game play by paying cold hard cash. I have no problems with this for two reasons, first, it's the only way I can catch up on players who have been in the game for 1 year+ and secondly, this game doesn't work on air alone, the game can only exist if its generating revenue, so as long as this revenue improves the game play, and that *some* sort of balance is maintained, it's a definite 'no problem'.

On to the accounts department.

Currently, most people avail of the free training ground (+5 strength) as well as the 0.19 gold outlay for the climbing frame (+2.5 strength). In addition, every day for 4 days you get +1 strength bonus for working and training and a +5 strength bonus on the 5th day.

So a 5 day cycle we generate 7.5 (5 + 2.5) x 5 on training and 1 x 4 + 1 x 5 on the daily reward which gives a total of 46.5 strength or 9.3 strength per day.

This means you'll get the super soldier achievement every 27 days without other considerations.

If we use 40 gold to bring these two training grounds to Q2 (currently costing you €15 because of the discount) we now have the following 5 day cycle:

15 x 5 (10 + 5) on training and 1 x 4 + 1 x 5 on the daily reward which gives 84 strength or 16.8 strength per day. Super Soldier achievement therefore comes in just under 15 days.

Over 1 year under Q1 training you'll SS 13.5 times generating just under 68 gold. Under Q2 training you'll SS over 24 times generating just over 121 gold.

Do the maths. Q2 generates an extra 53 gold which more than covers your 40 gold investment and you'll have an extra 2737 strength.
