as you get older your hangovers increases and one gets to have a more laid back view about life rather enjoying a sober and healthy saturday than hangover due to few hours of euphoria the night before. beer face is also a big problem.(some ppl get a saggy appearance from too much beer)
when you drive a car at 180km as drunk as a skunk with 3 other ppl to another town 60 km away we can talk again. unfortunately my parties was usually extremely life threatening so i dont think you drinking a vodka compares to our drinking bouts in a sunny country.
or when young taking a shopping trolley and me and my friends filling it with booze before heading to the beach where we sit for 2 weeks each drinking heavy without ever getting a hangover.. that was a bonus. i think god said you suffered hard in school here is a bonus. south africa is a sunny country it would be hard too explain to you that cold countries generally suck compared to a constantly hot country. consider us the poor mans california

I like horticulture, particularly exotic (to us) plants, Not so keen on cats, though.
well things like the black zantedeschia you can with 1 or 2 plants soon have a quickly expanding group and within a year 30 to 40 plants. they usually distribute in clusters below the plant. some form big clusters . i breed the white one and the green goddess and the green and purple colocasia or elephants ear that grows very big. also have a quickly expanding group of succulents that each multiplied by between 6 to 12 satellites.
1 cluster can form 10 or so plants. the green goddess and white one differ though in the form of their clusters.
Yep, I've grown plants of various types for decades. I'm currently looking at my Sarracenias and thinking I'm going to have to repot them again or split them.
I've grown black Zantedeschia and many other colours, have had better luck with the white and some with the coloured ones though the black needs a lot more sun I think.
Like Liam I too have tried many types of plants with varying degrees of success...

Nice selection of flowers and plants. Are they all native to S. Africa. If so I probably won't have much of a chance of getting them to grow around here. lol

Most would be available in the us. Depending on weather some would make it or not. Zantedeschia is called calla or arum lily .
I live in a very cold zone during the winter. Plants need to survive at least 30 below F to survive here.
