Provisional Government MSG: Looking Ahead
Myung Kei
Dear Non-Theocrat South Koreans, (Theocrats we still <3 you)
As a member of the Provisional Government it is my proper duty to inform you, the average citizen, of the recent events that have transpired that will effectively lead to a post-Theocracy government. There are several challenges that lie ahead for our movement, so the battle is far from over with the recent theocratic exodus to Spain.
First off, the town hall meeting was a great success, congrats to those who could all come...and thank you for those who could not come but requested a transcript of the meeting. If anyone else needs a copy of the meeting simply sign up on the forums and view the copy there.
Government Structure
As previously suggested by a familiar theocrat, and taken into well thought out consideration by those who were present at the town hall meeting. As such, the current provisional government will be comprised of 4 official people...all those who currently serve in these positions were elected by the people present at the meeting:
Leader/President - Smily132
Minister of Defense - Spade
Minister of Finance - (TBH)
Minister of Communication - (TBH, pseudo minister atm is Myung_Kei)
For those who are unaware of the current arangement, or are confused as to why we have so few positions, our capacity to run a fully bureaucratic government is zilch, I personally would love to hand out tinfoil hats to all of our hard working people...but we just can't.
If you want to be put up for nomination for the other 2 positions, please attend the next town hall meeting we have on #eSouthKorea at the IRC.
Keeping Informed
Yes! We do have an official IRC! Why don't you pop in every once in a while?:

Yes! We also have a forum! Sign up!

On a final note, Smily and Spade are currently fiddling with a new greasemonkey script that can be used for the eRepublik page when you log in....such can host official battle orders and voting instructions and etc.
However this is a complicated and grueling task to make, so an alternative has been proposed for the moment:
The Freedom Runner Postal System!
Using formated and developed mass mailing systems, one person can effectively mail off PM's to players everywhere and not have to shuffle through profiles and send individual PM's to interested people and citizens, this is an excellent way for people to stay connected and informed on government happenings!
I encourage all citizens to sign up by messaging me at my profile here. Once you are apart of this system, you will recieve regular government updates in your message box.
Once again, message me on my profile, if you wish to sign up.

Cool story bro
Provisional government of what?
Leop is the president of eSK 'till February 5th and the congress is theocrat until 25....
You don't have any power...
its just a structure Cigarra so we have some level of organization when you guys leave so were not just running around without our heads not having any guidance.
/me sits tight in Congress seat 😛
/me winks to Leop 😉
Spade is correct, the meaning of provisional is temporary, so it is a temporary structure.
And yes Donvan, I am sure we can get some royalties!
Cool Story for me! O/
Ok spade, coolstorybro then...
😃
Cool story bro.
Voted 🙂
Shouldn't we have someone in charge of foreign affairs?
aa, so that's what the postal system is.
Bro Story! Cool
Francis, it is an unnessecary position ATM which can be managed by smily/spade/interested person.
I didn't make a tinfoil hat for the MoFA 🙁
Hey guys, a wee polite hint? Seriously? I think Foreign Affairs may be kinda high on your immediate agenda. And yep, it will be VERY defense focussed, too.
*sigh*
Well of course, but the job of MOFA it can be easily managed by us, smily is just twiddling his thumbs atm. 😛
The only objection I have Myung... MSG? xD It sounds like something I shouldn't put in my 'shin-la-myun' (instant noodles).
Well, I think MSG gets a bad rap. I mean, without it, it would just taste like Irish food, right? Like spuds and cabbage?
My fiance has incorprated Irish cuisine into our diet ever since her vacation @ Dublin a few months back. Love the shepard pie, but their stews are waaaay too filling.
MSG is a critical part of traditional Chinese cooking.
Small portions, little and often, is the key. Also, maybe try some pickled accompaniments, like beetroot, sweet silverskin onions or pickled red cabbage, or good old brown sauce...the spicy kick helps with the digestion.
and yep Reiji - second time I agreed with you today.
I love Asian food, simple and delicious. Creative. Impressive.
See that's the problem. Irish dish + Asian portion = food coma @ a fat panda.
who votes a government here??? the true one is leop one!!!!
