Political Hotspot

Day 2,554, 06:12 Published in United Kingdom Canada by JQXZ

Welcome to the first edition of political hotspot, a thrice-monthly columb from The Kingdom Chronichles, featuring election results, political statistics and analysis.

The columb will normally be published on the 6th, 16th and 26th of each month, but this edition is a day late, due to it taking me longer than expected to work out how to put an image in an article.

From the data above, we can see that this country is a deeply left-wing country, with only one of the five largest parties, the UKRP, being right-wing. This shows a contrast between the eUK(DPRG😎, and the RL UK, where the right-wing Conservatives and UKIP are scoring more than 50% combined in opinion polls. Right-wing people may, however, tend to be older, and therefore less likely to play an online game.

The centre-left TUP has overtaken the centrist UKPP as the largest party over the past two days, which suggests that the eUK(DPRG😎 is moving further leftwards.

Party Presidential elections:

BaronChris has gained the leadership of UKPP from Wayne Kerr, recieving 72% of votes cast, after whom the party was renamed W.A.N.K. earlier this month.

Voodoomike71 has taken over the TUP with 64% of the vote.

The longstanding WRP leader, Huey George, has retained his leadership with a safe 82%. Aaron Mark Daniels did recieve some votes, despite saying that his preferred winner was Huey George.

Sir Humphrey Appleby is no longer the leader of UKRP, which has been taken over byn iAstrados with 52%. Gali2332 also came close, only 11% behind.

KeiranB retained the leadership of the PCP with 80% of the vote.

Karacticus retained the leadership of The Real Spamicans.

At New Era, Michael Ludgate won, Rodney McKay got Every Single One, and Rusofil104 won at Anarchy in eUK, all three running unopposed.

Meanwhile the Dear Leader, Aleksandar V Popovic, has returned to the Workers Rights Party, after a time elsewhere. His fame should hopefully help the WRP to make up some of it's lost numbers.

The next edition of Political Hotspot should be published on Wednesday 26th November, with all the results from the Congress elections.

This article was amended later on Day 2554, to correct the spelling of DPRGB, which was wrongly spelt as GBDRP.
