Someone needs to take their finger off of the button first. That task has fallen to me.

How can the task of taking a finger off the "button" fall to you. If you are talking of the "Impeach" button, then that is the responsibility of a congressperson, not you, if you are talking of the "Acacia" button, then WHY would you take your finger off of that?

Let's talk about the Addy situation. When I have said that people have shown through their actions that they are not interested in working with me, I'm not referring to dates and missed deadlines. That happens all of the time, as those who have taken me to task over the tardiness of the proposed budget have mentioned. I'm habitually fashionably late. It was never about that.

Addy doesn't really have to "work with you" all that much as Treasury Act Director. Really, it's an honorary job with a few small tasks to do per month. The vigor which you went after him with, specifically showed a tremendous immaturity on your part and your true "partisan" colors. Remember it was you many months ago that proposed "Operation Cow-Tipping" in the DAL forums, a personal affront to Addy Lawrence

It's about the "i-word".

Since halfway through Election Day people have been calling for my impeachment. Since 6 hours prior to my taking office, people have shown a complete and total opposition to any action that came out of this office, and have taken each and every available opportunity to say that.

Aside from Rylde's lulz, people have been holding you accountable to your campaign. You HAVEN'T DELIVERED. You campaigned on being READY, so far you have done squat, and what you have done has been solo acts that have spited the will of others in the elected government, namely Congress

I have made a partisan turn in order to combat these calls. I was elected to carry out a plan that I brought before the electorate, and I am duty bound to carry it out. Part of that for me means that if there are people standing in the way of that, I have to take action to overcome those obstacles and bring in people that are willing to work with me. This takes up my time and my energy, and I really would rather be smoking up or stomping the UK or any other number of activities.

You made a partisan turn on Day 1, which has been part of what has lead you into your predicament . To quote Addy, you can't blow and suck at the same time. You can't say you have a mandate to do your plans from the electorate, then pick and choose which plans you execute. You campaigned on a "Front Line Fight". That is what got people interested. This Kazuo school is an afterthought in your campaign that no one gives 2 craps about

I am done with that. The energy surrounding this has grown on both sides like a boil and now it needs to be lanced so that we can all continue to function. I am, for lack of a better word, ready to take Parliament's hand and press forward. There are some things that we will leave behind.

Parliament does not need you to take their hand, you need to take theirs. Must you continue to insult the elected congress because YOU think YOU know best?

Moving forward, I will not work with people who talk only about my inexperience and my mistakes. I get it. I'm fucking up. You certainly don't have to tell me that. But when I hear only that, I don't know where else to go. I want to make this work, and I need your guidance.

Yes, you are. you should perhaps take more time and the advice of the more EXPERIENCED players. As about a million people have TRIED to tell you before, there are REASONS things aren't done the way you think they should be

Moving forward, I will continue to describe things in my newspaper. I am trying to tell you things and communicate with you, but it's hard when people ask me things that have already been answered. I have not hidden anything from Parliament in my actions, nor have I hid my intentions and plans. I have said that if you want to know what I'm working on you need to read the Speech From My Keyboard. It's a roadmap for where we're going this week. If it's short, like the first one was, that's the way it is.

P.S. Your Paper Sucks, IF that is all you are doing then your presidency is an abject failure. You also FAIL to answer the tough questions people put before you

Moving forward, we will not throw the impeach word around casually. That caustic atmosphere ends now. We will also stop misrepresenting each others' plans and actions. Criticism and rhetoric are fine. Lying is not. I can and do apologize for a late night technical mistake, but you can't expect me to apologize for "abusing my power" or "silencing someone's voice".

Who's this "We"? "We", meaning the citizenry and the congress will "throw around" any word we please as it refers to your performance. If an impeach is necessary, you will have little to say about it.... Reading between the lines, your use of "We" really means "You" and the Congress will not be dictated to by the CP..

Moving forward, we will move together and work in a multi-partisan manner. I can return Addy Lawrence to the Treasury Board, because he won't be openly calling for my impeachment as he has been. I won't have to promote my political party because I will be able to work with the people that are here now.

Once again, who is this "We". You cannot dictate from your position the feelings and opinions of others, whether they are your political allies or enemies. You can't "return" Addy Lawrence to the Treasury Board, there is a congressional procedure that must be followed. You can grow up and put his name before the congress, so they can make THEIR decision. Also, Your "Political Party" is dead, that is the real reason you have no need to promote it anymore

We are moving on, and we are moving forward, together, else we not move forward at all.

Nice touch at the end...but this "speech" just proves how much farther you still have to go... You are unqualified, not only in game, but apparently in outlook and reality. The only question is how much political "damage" you will do in the coming weeks....
