Officially Running for President

I feel honored to announce my candidacy for Country President of eSouth Africa. I want to thank UP for endorsing my candidacy and having faith in my application.

Earlier this week I commented on one of Claudio’s articles. I basically stated that eSA wasn’t in such dire need of leaders than active citizens. However, having had some time to think about that statement I disagree with myself. This may sound a bit pessimistic, but a lot of CPs in eSA have failed at core parts of leading. Some excluded themselves to nullify their responsibility, others have passed the blame down and a lot just when silent until everyone forgot about the issue.

What I'd like to offer eSA is a security shakeup. Many people started playing the blame game while only Ejdatful and myself attempted to mend the wounds. Of course an inspiring person like Claudio would have been ideal for countering our fears, but he has unfortunately resigned candidacy. Many of you may know me has a doer, or at least a “tryer”. I’ve been trying to organize things like an energizer bunny in the absence of our CP and the resignation of our MoS.

With the ATO team we're building and an active cabinet I hope to stop the Lazo threat in its tracks. A PTO obviously takes months, but as a community who has experienced much hardship I KNOW that we can beat this threat. I see it has already evoked some excitement in some of our citizens. If I’m elected I’ll lead from the front. No CP responsibility will be passed. There’s only here and now to stop the enemy.

Ministry of Defence
I’ve noted some complaints about the in-activeness of our MoD team. Now MoD has actually been extremely active in the past few months compared to the days we were landlocked by Brazil. The difference lately has been that we’ve moved to the relative same position as before our liberation war. We don’t have a NE(for the time being) and we’re not in an alliance. However, war is always close so we’ll be looking to get an active crew in MoD who can communicate with eSAAF High Command to set coherent battle orders.

Ministry of Domestic Affairs
Due to the deterioration of the economic model we’ve been unable to find a viable replacement for any of our former welfare programs. We can however lift the spirits of the community a bit. It has been a long time since our last community awards and Don vin’s/Wacky’s hot seat. We also haven’t seen an informational article in months. Perhaps it’s time to clean our old dusty departments and create something to be proud of for our community again.

Ministry of Security
MoS is going to have to deciding role in our future. As mentioned before I’ve started assembling a team to help us fight the PTO’ers. Ejdatful and I’m also closely monitoring movements of multis. As a two-man-army we’re doing our best to keep up with the threat. Through discussion and planning I also hope that congress can pull its weight as a governmental entity in the fight against the PTO’ers.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs
MoFA is going to play a vital role in the coming period. Now that we are yet again in line with TWO we can decide on the sphere of influence we want to be part of. Countries like Poland and Argentina have shown us a great deal of support in our resistance wars. Perhaps it’s time to increase relations with these countries so that we can actively participate in affairs and wars relevant to our country’s pro-TWO stance. War is a core part of this game and we need to find a way to stimulate our warmongering urges during times of peace. I don’t know about you guys, but knowing that I’m fighting for a friend sure feels better than fighting for a friend’s nephew’s roommate’s cousin 😉

I’m on the ball. I’m the current Vice President and Chief of Staff(of our cabinet). I’d really like to be in the thick of the fight, but it’s up to you guys. If the community wants me, I’ll be on the vanguard.

I’m not an official CP candidate though. It seems Adunit felt confident enough to bypass the party’s opinion, but the fight I’m fighting is for South Africa…and I know you all will consider my application. I will greatly appreciate support from any party.
