Dear Readers

I saw this message in the storage today.

Starting January 1st (Day 4,791, 00:00) you will no longer be able to Activate Houses withouth a Residence City.
Please establish a residence city before that time.

This message is seen by those who have not settled somewhere to this day. So from January, only those who have settled somewhere can use the house.

I don't like constraints in this game! For my part, I want to travel there without restrictions and spend as much time wherever I want!

The developers have simplified the game for me. From January, I don't have to buy a house, I don’t have to deal with overtime and I don’t have to bother turning the houses on/off. Also, if this game is going through its 14th birthday and the last mission is repeated again, I probably don’t have to deal with energy booster house anymore.

How many nomads live in this virtual world? If you are a nomad, please indicate below in a post.

I am not agree whit you. The developers gave us the posibility of choice. we chose the nomadic lifestyle. Now they come and it diminishes our rights. They let us to be nomads, but whitout some rights. This is discrimination in a normal world!
On the other hand you chose in the past to be a resident, you knew from the beginning what you were choosing.No one condemns you for your decision.

Have always been a nomad...Never trusted eBukarest Admin...They change rules & region bonuses to suit themselves & even hacked eHungary before eRepublik was sold. It's never 'random' region bonuses, it's always a stacked deck..now with 'factory move tokens' joke... Some Paid staff also play; Unite all Nomads & tribes to attack eBukarest....they wrecked VI & keep on wrecking it more and more...only 'old players' & bots remain.

tbh for my game it has always been better to be a resident. well you can continue on this path you just wont have the advantage of houses. what advantage is there anyway for you not to be a resident.

I'm a nomad and the advantage is, that you can turn on houses when required. I do it mostly before week change or before and important fight. It saves a lot of costs to turn on a q5 house for only 4 hours instead of full 160

if you moved between residences wouldnt this create the same effect. for example i activate in cork and then move to mayo wouldnt this stop the house?

You can pay municipal tax and have to pay if you want to move. Once you've settled in, you can't be a nomad again. Once you settle down, you can't turn off the house. Plato wants to force him to settle down.
