Yes the tittle says it...


Here i will highlight one of the newspapers that are to be commended for there work or at least for the effort they try to do.
I will give a short summary describing that paper and why this one was chosen.
And if possible(if the newspaper-owner agrees to it) i'll give a very...very short interview with its creator.

leave the summary to the editor: Using my newspaper - first article on day 669! -, I try to share things from a point of view that is as neutral and objective as possible about any topics that are interesting at a certain point in time. I started out writing much about the economy, when it wasn't as simplified as now. After that, I did a few 'tips & tricks' articles. Lately, I focus more on politics. Although there are some articles falling in it, I mostly leave the category 'fun' up to others... they're likely to be better in that than me. Also, you won't really catch me taking an extreme stance on issues in my newspaper - I tend to use the forum for that. So the best summary would be "boring walls of text". Still proud of that, though.


Interview with newspaper owner/editor:

Question: Could you tell me why you started this newspaper?
Answer:
There were two reasons. First of all, I wanted to write about the - back then very complex - economics, and learn about it in the process. I really succeeded in that - mainly the learning part - by the comments I got. Second reason is that to be elected, you would need votes on yourself as individual. Votes weren't cast on a party only. So I had to explain my political stance and opinions a bit to encourage people to vote for me.

Question: How do you feel about the negative comments on your articles? Does it effect your articles you write after that?
Answer:
Luckily, I don't get many really negative votes. I do get constructive critics from time to time, but as I try to be neutral and objective, critics tend to reply with good arguments as well. It's okay to disagree, as long as you do it respectfully.

Question: What are your future plans for your newspaper?
Answer:
I will continue my series on QED when I find some time. Still a lot of parties to discuss! After that, I'm not sure. I'll see what interesting topic pops up. As long as it's worthy of a objective article, I'll be there.

Question: Anything else you wish to share here? Last words, advice or promoting something...
Answer:
1. Reach out to each other. That's why I took the avatar of my newspaper years ago. If you disagree with someone, do it respectfully. We're a small country, so we need each other to survive.
2. Join the forum on www.erepbelgium.com. It's getting more alive again, so that's a good thing
