My Day 3000 Story...

First thing first my name is Sherlock.H and I am a very young erepublik player. Some of you may know me from the forum, party or military unit that I am in. Today I will tell you my Day 3000 story...





My day began 10 minutes before day change, I am from Europe. The day before Clopoyaur announced that he will stream on Twitch the Day 3000 Event, so I joined. I don't remember how many we were on the stream but there where intense discussions on the chat. My nickname on Twitch is sherlock3690 if anyone is curious. Game midnight arrived and I was hitting F5 like no other time before on this game, the servers didn't crash as some anticipated.


There it was, the DAY 3000 MISSION in full glory.
I will not waste time repeating the task, you all know them. On Twitch there was confusion and mixed feelings with Clopoyaur trying to connect the puzzle pieces. The mission briefing from Latest Updates arrived latter that the icons and it is was incomplete. If my memory is good the last words were "part of Day 3,000 comes with all the Battles being… Epic!". Only after a few minutes they added the information regarding the 30x gold from CH & 9x from BH. This time to there was something missing, they forgot to mention that "For the Battle Hero won on the losing side no Gold will be awarded, but you get only the achievement".


I continued to watch the stream for the Pyramid and Raffle Ticket giveaways. The unlucky me didn't win and if that wasn't enough Clopoyaur order a gigantic pizza and eat it all by himself. He did apologize for eating on live stream motivating that he didn't have time to eat the breakfast. The first thing after he wake up was to start streaming and entertain his followers.





I really wanted to get the badge. My plan was to make the 333 kills with bazookas so I will not need a lot of food and not gain to much xp. I was really low on bazooka parts so I was forced to buy parts with gold. I didn't have a lot of gold either and I ended buying the Combat Stash and Assault Pack. The main personal mission was to get the Day 3000 badge but because I invested money I wanted to make it count. I wanted to get as many medals as I could.


I bought 5x110 bazooka parts with 20 gold, activated my 8 hour 50% damage booster received with the Assault pack and went to war. Because I received bazooka boosters with the Combats Stash my first battle field was at Pyongan between USA and North Korea. Yes I was going for the True Patriot medal. I managed to kill 280 enemies and made a damage of almost 5 and a half million giving me 3 True Patriot medals.


Because of the rule that no Battle Hero Gold medal will be awarded for the loosing side I ended up having a chance of wining that shiny medals. There was a discussion on ClopoyuarTV regarding the Dictatorship Wars and how you could earn the Campaign Hero very easy because this kind of wars can get isolated. After looking for easy Battle Hero Medal I ended up wining my first one in Sweden on the Attacker side with only 30k damage. For a young player like me with only 600 strength is quite a realization. unfortunately later I couldn't get another one in Sweden because the Attackers closed the registration to the Military Unit. There were other countries like Czech Republic and Peru where all the Military Units were invitation based only, they really organized well to get the Campaign Hero Medal.


In the end I manage to grab 6 Battle Hero medals, all in Dictatorship War. Two in Egypt with a overall damage of 230k, two in New Zealand with 792k damage dealt and one in South Africa with 124k damage. I must admit that one point during the day I tried to steal two or three medals with no success and ending up dealing more damage that could afford. It wasn't easy, I moved a lot, joined many Military Units and spent all my day searching for easy Battle Hero medals on the losing side. The hunting for low damage Battle Hero medal can be very time consuming and I'm not the only one doing this, there are a lot of players who play the game just for this.


Overall I got the Day 3000 badge, 3 True Patriot Medals, 6 Battle Hero medals and one Freedom Fighter Medal. My inventory still holds 2 Big Bombs, 7 Rockets and some Energy Bars. For me this was the most action filled day.
