Dear Mom,

Before you freak, I'm fine, shot six times but I'm fine. As you can see, my brothers and sisters removed my sorry ass from harm's way in the nick of time. I won another Battle Hero, Ma. That's right, your boy is a hero, three times over!
General Whydoibother came in and checked on some of us wounded. He told me he'd buy me a couple rounds at the cantina back at Easy Company HQ when I'm all patched up.

They got me here in a field hospital for a while longer. Don't worry, the medical staff here is top notch.

A couple of buddies from Easy are in here with me. My dutch comrade,JameSB009, Darkskye and I have been playing in some really high stakes Uno games with some of the other soldiers. I was up a hundred and fifty one minute and then next thing I know I get hit by two Draw Fours back to back courtesy of Easy's best Uno player, Kirbubble Smith, and I'm seventy bucks in the hole now.

Looks like I'm drinking cheap beer and smoking filterless cigs until payday.
