London Falling

Day 1,966, 19:27 Published in Ireland USA by Raven Anarcho

A nation loses its capital, while another continues in its attempts to join an alliance. This will be yet another issue to list some of the world's newest leaders and their goals this term.

LONDON FALLING

The UK lost their capital, London, during the war with Argentina. The nation has begun pushing hard into Ireland, sacrificing their natural territories against what seems to be an unbeatable opponent. Argentina has done the same, sacrificing their territories momentarily to Spain, while focusing primarily on colonizing the UK. Mystery still resides around Poland’s next decision on international affairs, as they were considering an airstrike of their own after a loss to China.

INTO THE CIRCLE?

Germany has confirmed that the major goal of the next month will be joining CoT. The current President has mentioned the union between Denmark and Germany being strong, with Denmark’s military working directly under the German Ministry of Defense. Questions still remain around Denmark’s ability to join as well, should CoT’s upcoming HQ accept Germany. Germany, Denmark, and Russia have continued their attack on Norway for the moment, in an attempt to help liberate Norway from other enemies, with the attempt being led by Russia.

LEGEND OF THE MONTH

Grutte Pier

Born in Frisia, now the Netherlands, Pier Gerlofs Donia was both a rebel and a pirate who fought against the English and Dutch governments. When a military regiment attacked his village, raped his wife, and burned his church and home to the ground, he took vengeance by forming the Arumer Zwarte Hoop (Black Gang from Arum). He was a giant of a man, with most historians believing his sword to be that of 7ft long. In his ventures at sea, he once conquered 28 dutch ships in a single battle, throwing all of his enemies into the sea. He died in 1520, peacefully, and is buried in Sneek, Netherlands.
