Never heard of it? Well it’s only recently been dragged, through no fault of it’s own, into a controversy of the highest order involving the Taoiseach / President and Tánaiste / Vice President and some mysterious stranger noone has ever really heard of before.
They really really really …. did I mention REALLY?... wanted to become members of EA.
They dreamt of soaking up the craic and sheer Bi-winning awesomeness that is EA.. Just one drop of the deliciously exotic blend of fruit juice that is EA would probably have satisfied their thirst for a principled and egalitarian party.
So, for just one fleeting moment on the 15th of August they wished to join with their fellow politicians, soldiers, entrepreneurs, strategists, thoughtful trolls & regular citizens that combine to form the EA. party.
Some may say EA has multi-personality disorder, it’s got so many contrasting voices discussing issues from varying perspectives. But that’s how we like it (nah.... that’s how I like it, I won’t pretend to speak on behalf of anyone else in EA. That’s not generally our style!
😉) Anyhow...
Unfortunately, they rapidly grew greedy at the mere anticipation of such a sublime state of being. Realising that one sip of EA tigerblood (available in your local EA constituency office) would not suffice, they hatched a plan, in their sup3r sekret hideout, to ensure that they got their hands on the precious for a whole month.... or ya know... till they got bored and handed it over to the EA member with highest XP.
It’s a real pity this is a satirical article (or attempts to be). I would have felt proud to have learned from and engaged in discussion with the likes of Irishbhoy. Perhaps a short glimpse behind the PP bravado would have been possible as a fellow EA member. And surely that other guy, whoever he is, would have had something to say... although maybe it’s best he stay anonymous and under the radar, what with his quiet and meek personality and all.
We were told our President had changed... that eIreland would now be his priority rather than his time-consuming lulz fetish.
Guess they were WRONG.
Guess we were WRONG.
Guess we forgot how GOOD we had it.
Guess we gotta put things RIGHT!
... while there's still time left.

Yeah, isn't it funny, after all the practise eIreland has had with impeachments, it still cant get its collective a** together to read the rules on it first.

Precisely: 5 people voting no, 4 people voting yes, out of the 13 who have been elected by 74 out of the 547. Some people have spoken out loud that they love PP, some of us have spoken out loud that we despise and disdain him.
But all of have seen him fail his childish PTO plot, seen his denial disproved, and seen his government having eIreland wiped off the map once again.
Point being, elections R umportant.
And thanks to the soldiers and allies of eIreland for saving regions , allowing a counterbalance to the executive to have its say in the impeachment.
Otherwise PP may have impeached himself with his single vote, we'll never know 😉 😉 (whichever wink friggin smiley works!)
Let me remind you that PP was elected by 58 votes (40😵 out of the 145 who voted. He is the least supported President this year. (given his record of misdeeds it's really no wonder)
Yes, Dáil elections are important, but what would be even more important is to have quality candidates for the presidential position. eIreland should elect capable and honourable presidents in the first place, who do not deserve to be impeached.
(yeah, I know it's only a dream but I fancy to play with the thought of it coming true once)

Yeah I agree with ibhoy, how about you put your money where your mouth is and run for cp?
Heck I would even try to get some support for you just to see if you can do a better job than the rest of us at the top job.
I would like to see SHM run. It's a win win situation. If you win you can tell everyone how right you are and Lord it over "the gang in charge." If you lose you have a whole new group of citizens to despise. Your supporters. After all your view of eIreland is, to borrow a previous quote of yours, "This is quite possibly the eRep community with the lowest moral standards."

What would SHM running have to do with anything? I know from talking to him that he has no interest in becoming CP. Despite having become extreme in his willingness to denounce others, having standards for your community and yourself is not a form of hypocrisy.
(that's my two cents, and I wont be giving any more out since I'm short on change where money is a metaphor for having anything worth saying)

We're not discussing "hipocracy" here but since you've brought it up what is more hipocritical than Vulgaris Magistralis, one of your party members who has tried to sell citizenships, starting an impeachment vote?
Open up SHM's newspaper. While I'll admit he has a fondness for "bitching", It would be incredibly unfair to say that he has no interest in doing anything else. If you don't know about the work he has done for Ireland's economy than you haven't been paying attention. But in all honesty what he has or hasn't done doesn't have much to do with the claims that he's been making. Those will have to stand or fall on their own.
Vulgaris is one of EA's new members. Obviously selling citizenships is something that is unacceptable, but I don't have enough knowledge about what Vulgaris did to honestly defend or condemn him. I also wouldn't hope to see the party abandon a member because of an error in judgement, although when a person makes that kind of mistake their character does come into question and should be re-questioned during the next elections. If you want answers on the subject of what Vulgaris did or didn't do however, I recommend talking to Vulgaris himself.
I just have a short thing to say. His government did not get us wiped off the map. We still have regions and we've had them from the start
