Jonathon Edwards for Country President?

Not a chance.

Actually, it's my turn, like Addy Lawrance a couple of weeks ago, to announce my departure from this game. I had not planned on it.

But when the admins announced last week the 3 day period of double consumption of weapons and food, I decided simply to work and train for those days, and do nothing else. Then I found out that that was far easier than I anticipated.

It's now been a week or more since I last fought, and five days since I logged in. Erepublik even sent me emails asking me where I was...

And guess what? I discovered that I could live without this game.

So with this, I announce my departure. This will be the second time I do so. The first, when I left the game as Wilhelm Gunter, I liquidated all my assets and gave them to a friend, who quit shortly thereafter. I was able to recover those assets for my second eRep life, as Jonathon Edwards. This time, I will be giving my assets to the government (or a government official) who will see that they get used in at timely and wise manner.

This time, I will have nothing to come back to.

It's been a slice... playing on and off since September 2009. Met many wonderful people, but life goes on.
