If Oinyo stated the release of everything then you kind of have to release everything. However, this is an online game... who cares. The people bitching about their eGovernment keeping things from them have probably never called their RL Government to address RL issues... ironic.

I just find it funny how much people expect of their peers on this game just because their the leader of a fictitious group with no actual responsibility, and no actual salary paid to justify the upkeep of that responsibility.

I feel like you just came out of a coma and noticed this. First of all, not everybody's old enough to vote, and a fair amount of people here likely do vote, seeing as most of us who joined a political/military game are of that kind of mind. Also, the difference between being one citizen of a country of 900~ and one of 35 million is kind of a big difference, so making a comparison to our actions here vs. IRL is hardly a fair one.

It takes a lot less effort to pay attention in the game than IRL, though. I didn't have to go scrounging for quotes, I found them in his articles leading up to the election, reminding him of what he promised in his campaign, and what he fails to do now.

This isn't the only place you've brought the same thing up, but I'll say this: If you don't care about what happens while playing the game, why are you playing it?

More "Completely Open Government"

Why should the government share any information with people openly hostile to the nation and it's international agreements? What right to do you have to demand anything? Once again you want things both ways. Agreements between parties are made in good faith which you are doing your best to destroy.

I believe it is safe to say there will be no agreements if we continue our current path and I don't have to be part of any talks to be sure of that.

This feels like a Congress discussion about serious matters, but conducted in an article. There is hope that debates about policy can be conducted in the most transparent medium available to eRep players: in-game articles.

I'm hopeful one day that hard-hitting questions and well documented evidence (screenshots, references to other discussions, etc.) can be part of serious policy development in the media and not be principally used as smear tactics or political leveraging. (not that those don't have a place here, keep at it!) We don't even need a Speaker to regulate the questions crisfire is posing the administration...great stuff!
