Is it a war, or What???

Day 1,837, 02:31 Published in Greece Greece by Blue Lord

Some months ago, when Fyrom (Skopje) was erased from the map, they agreed to a peace treaty in order to get their country back. Bulgarians, a former member of EDEN had their options reconsidered and left the alliance they achieved greatness with, to join the enemy as they concluded that it was for their benefit to do so.
For quite a few months there was peace. We all knew, that you can not trust any of the above mentioned wannabes. Yet, we agreed in faith to not attack anyone. It was widely known that although this agreement was bearing the title PEACE TREATY the actual code name was WAR PREPARATION.

Now, let's get things right. This is a VL game. People play this game to have fun, and maybe to create something different than RL. Yes, many use RL money to play a VL game, yet they don't like mixing the two Ls. It could somehow be described hypocritical to not mix VL and RL as anything in this VL game comes from the RL. Names, ideas, world, players, political parties, military units, money (of course) are all factors that consist the VL game taken from the RL experience. Of course anyone is free to believe what ever he/she wants. Taking into account that this is a VLG and you can do things differently than in real life, you would expect that people would actually give it a go and try something new. A better approach and understanding for the neighbors. Many countries did it. There are a few countries that although in real life are not the “greatest pals” they have joined the same alliance and helped each-other. That proves that when people are in charge and not politicians, things CAN be approached differently.
But some didn't. For example, when Fyrom aka Skopje is considered, things don't change. The same furor they have in RL against Greece, the very same they show in this VL game. Never in the history of the game was there any other country that joined this game to express their RL hatred to another nation or country like Fyrom aka Skopje, did against Greece.

Greece or eGreece never had the urge to prove anything so we haven't really bothered to make war. Both in VL or RL other countries have been trying to conquer Her and some indeed succeeded, but never actually manged to achieve anything apart obtaining some land, or pixels. Land can be conquered. Greeks can't. We have experienced that when, twice or three times, eGreece was conquered for several months. We just continued methodically to do what we know best. Get ready to fight back. And we did it in style, and we forced our enemies to sign the PT. Wait... did I say enemies? I did, didn't I? Please accept my apologies for this error. Because you can't actually consider as an enemy someone you feel sorry for. So no, not enemies. Desperate wannabes full of hatred maybe, but that doesn't make them enemies. And what else can you feel for someone whose only reason of existence is to troll other peoples life. Because let me tell you, that's all they achieve.

Like mentioned above, Greeks knew that this PT is only temporary, and that sooner or later we are gonna have to face the “enemy” (whatever) again. And so it happened. We were promised a hard battle. We were promised that we will be erased in one day. We were promised that we will be beaten so hard we are not gonna like it. We were promised a war like never before. And we were ALL in such a BIG anticipation. It was about time because the game started being kinda boring.
And WHAT did we get? Some imbecilic wannabes full of promises, like the Greek politicians, but no real action. Why? Why did you give promises that you cannot keep? Look what happened to you and your little alliance. You have managed to embarrass yourselves in front of the whole world. Both in VL and RL. You just proved that either in RL or in VL you are as big as a pixel. And not even an HDP. Just one little puny pixel of low definition...

Then, after all this big mouth bragging and all the failed promises, they called the big sister to take them out of their despair. But big sister ended up paying a visit to the “brothers boat”, and we all know the end of that story. Yet there was more to come. After the threesome and the experience of how the Greek Ouzo tastes nice but “tsouzi kolo” (stings in the butt) mommy and daddy, or rather “the pander”, came to do the laundry. Little did they know that it takes more than one bird to make the spring. Well, five didn't do it either. And too bad they didn't bring their washing liquid because now they are facing, all together, what they know best. FAILURE and EMBARRASSMENT.
But don't get me wrong. It is rather unexpected that eGreece won't be conquered, eventually. But if it takes 5 countries with double amount of players to manage to conquer eGreece, you don't call it a war. Maybe a stand-up comedy with a little drop of poison, but a war? Nope. The price is high. But all Greeks gladly pay it with their credit cards. Because having all them experiencing “Greek Ouzo”... It is Priceless!!!!
