Hungarian and Romanian Rage

EDEN allied Croatia made a push towards Hungarian occupied Southern Transdanubia and Southern Great Plain early on this day. From the get go, while Croatia has been pushing their troops in for this campaign, Hungary has not seemed to put much international involvement as this as they are have been. The Hungarian and Croatian sequence had been exploded.

Hungary was also hit on the other side by Romanian forces making their way through Northern Great Plain. Slightly more priority than the first battle sequence, this territory was disputed with heavy international efforts in order. At the end of the battle, it was very close and came back down to the last mini-battles, but Romania did end up winning that territory, which has been a great victory in their campaign. This Romanian - Croatian struggle is not a totally new one as in the day before they had disputed Crisana. Romania won that territory and kept on the offense.

Continuing on, Italy was on the offense today and charged towards the most populous Austrian territory, Voralberg. While previous battles between these two countries have not been frequent, there has been some vengence to be made. Three days ago, Austria attacked Trentino-South Tyrol, but Italy was able to secure it in time. With that, Italy saw it fit to counterattack, proving to be quite advantageous. Austria has not put up much effort in that quarrel at all, so it seems Italy will gain that territory.

United Kingdom Continuing March Towards Mainland Europe, EDEN Pushing Forward

United Kingdom has been hit hard from the previous attacks from Canada the days before. With that in mind, the United Kingdom been pushing towards mainland Europe for the past couple days, and things have been picking up for their turf. Sweden has been hit from United Kingdom forces at two points: Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. While Austria has been letting Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania rot away to British forces, they have been defending the former well, and for good reason too. If the United Kingdom were to get through and win that battle, my guess is that their next move would be towards Denmark.

From newly acquired Thuringia, Poland was able to attack German occupied Hesse early into the day. Poland has been on a rampage completely tearing down German defenses even though Germany has attempted to put up a fight a here or two. There has been no effort put on the German side to defend Hesse, but that's understandable. It is not an important location to lose on the German side, but if this keeps on going, there could be far more devastating effects for Germany.

Furthermore, Italy attacked Saxony in Germany also. Similar to the last fight, this one has not been a priority for the Germans as it is useless. There are no strategical advantages to winning this territory as of now, but who knows what might happen to it in the future? I wouldn't see this as a total loss of gold from Italy as it does do its role in invigorating the stale economy.

Battles in Iberian Escalate, Spanish Being Hit and Retaliating

For the last week or so, the Iberian Peninsula has been a raging battlefield. For Portugal, it has been a do or die situation. You see, they are only down to three territories, and none of them have a high resource region. This is becoming killer for the Portuguese market, and the heated election that just recently occurred there doesn't add to the happiness. With that being said, the Portuguese have started a resistance in both Brazilian occupied Lisbola and Madeira. The former is a high grain region, which is gold to the Portuguese. The chances of them winning Lisbola are not on their sides as it is such a rich region, although I believe Madeira can go either way.

Spain has been bombarded with tons of battles popping up like prepubescent zits. France attacked four Spanish regions: Castilla-La-Mancha, La Rioja, Navarra, and Catalonia. For the past few days, there has been a back and forth conflict between these two countries, and today it escalated. With Spain being so capable of manipulating battles due to their manpower, they should have no problem defending all of the mention disputed areas beside Catalonia. The French has made a substantial effort in retrieving this region, and they won't give up without a fight.

But Spain was not all defensive today. Contrary, they made a respectable assault on Aragon and Algrave, a French and Brazilian region respectively. Aragon has been established as a stronghold for the French, so that battle might be very French fortified while Brazil has a very strong position in Algrave. Spain and Brazil have had butted heads in the previous days, so this was not unexpected. Spain has bounced off Andalucia the past couple days, so Brazil counterattacked it again making it one of the most disputed regions in the whole struggle.

The New World was on fire with battles today, which is great! It revives economies and helps citizens gain experience! Europe was an internal battleground with numerous countries getting involved due to the MPP rules. Like for the past few days, the Iberian has been a mess, and the United Kingdom seems to have diverted their homeland attacks from Canada away to venturing into mainland Europe. Until next time!
