I am a CPF Moose.

Day 2,652, 18:19 Published in Canada Canada by klop123

Over the past week or so, there has been a lot of party politics controversies mainly centered around Rylde winning CPF Party Presidents. Whether it was legitimate votes, bought votes or a PTO, I don't care to comment nor speculate, what is done is done. The point is, there is no longer a CPF member in charge of the CPF, we no longer have a party with which we can claim an identity. In fact the party has had it's name changed as well, but does this signal the end of the CPF?

I will be the first to admit, losing the PP elections twice (even once) was something I had not anticipated. I clearly overestimated the active population in the CPF and underestimated the Rylde/Rolo team. Perhaps this was the wake up call we (myself included) all needed.

However, this does not mean that we will stop operating. Veteran community member Exalted Druid has already sent out PMs to gather where loyalties lie. Those that reply will be included in our Moose Call for the time being as we prepare for the comeback.

How else will we get there? The only other answer is an active media presence. Besides ED & myself, Alias Vision (who wrote an excellent piece you should check out!), TheSmoke, Bryan Alexander, Lance Lucky & Auk Rest will be the leadership group in charge of riding our moose back into battle. I strongly encourage you PM any of the above mentioned and get involved as well.

To end my brief article, I encourage all CPF members to move past this. Attacking MDP for something we have no clue if they actually orchestrated is simply silly. Remain strong though and offer intelligent arguments though and we shall get through this.

To our colleagues in Clan Wolf, thank you for your support.

Finally, to answer my question...

This is NOT the end of the CPF. We'll be back. DAL/EPIC (-hail Cit. B ) has nothing on us.

I am a CPF Moose.

Are you?

Stay Golden.
