Hard but Necessary Decision, My Reason not Renewing MPP with UK

Ich war gerade neu in meinem Amt als Vizeaußenminister und wirklich aufgeregt und überglücklich an diesem Entwurf zu arbeiten, den ich immer noch im Herzen trage. Ich arbeitete mit Legenden an diesem Dokument, wie Mr Woldy und The German Eagle, und es war dieses Dokument, dass mir Erfahrung brachte um später Phoenix zu gestalten und zu formen. Daher bedeutet mir der "Frankfurt Treaty" etwas mehr und ich sehe ihn als einen Teil von mir, wie einen Arm oder ein Bein.
Das macht die Sache, die ich im Begriff bin zu tun, umso schwerer. eDeutschland ist zur Zeit stark kriegsgeschädigt. Wir sind verwundbar und wir brauchen sichere Zeiten, um zu heilen und die Sicherheit zu bewahren. Davon ausgehend, werde ich unseren MPP mit unseren guten Freunden über dem Kanal nicht erneuern.
Viele unserer Leser werden das jetzt nicht verstehen. Wie kann es unserer Sicherheit dienlich sein, eine Allianz mit einem guten Freund wie eUK nicht zu unterzeichnen?
Am 5. Januar zerstörte Polen mit Unterstützung der EDEN-Streitkräfte eDeutschland und radierte es von der Weltkarte. Damit war der Polnisch-Deutsche-Krieg beendet. Jedoch bleiben unsere MPPs auch ohne Landbesitz bestehen. Mit Hilfe unserer Freunde von Phoenix konnten wir das Saarland und Bayern zurückerobern und die immer noch aktiven MPPs beeinträchtigen uns konkret. Polen konzentriert sich nun auf eine Invasion im Vereinigten Königreich, was unser MPP auslösen und uns in einen neuen Konflikt mit Polen führen würde. Sie könnten jederzeit zuschlagen und wir wären machtlos, nicht in der Lage uns selbst zu verteidigen. Das Auslaufen des MPPs mit eUK würde uns aus diesem Konflikt herausnehmen. Falls Polen uns angreifen wollen würde, müssten sie uns zunächst den Krieg erklären, was uns 24 Stunden zum Handeln und Vorbereiten bringt.
Ich sprach mit dem Premierminister von eUK, Dishmcds, und er unterstützt diesen Plan, ebenso wie Phoenix selbst. Es war sogar unsere Freundschaft und ihre Sorge um unser Wohlergehen, dass sie diesen Plan vorschlugen. Wir sind nicht dabei uns zu verstecken und davonzulaufen, sondern am Wiedergewinnen unserer Kraft. Wenn wir unsere Stärke regeneriert haben werden wir selbstverständlich unsere Verpflichtungen gegenüber dem Verinigten Königreich erfüllen, Allianzen erneuern, usw. Ich möchte nur alle eDeutschen wissen lassen, dass dies nur vorübergehend ist und sobald sich unsere Lage ändert, werden wir unsere alten Verbindlichkeiten fortsetzen.
Der "Frankfurt Treaty" ist weit weg vom tot sein. Während wir vorübergehend keinen MPP mit UK unterzeichnen, sind alle anderen Bestimmungen wie ATO und Verteidigung in puncto Militärverbund am Bestehen. Wir werden unsere guten Freunde gegenüber dem großen Kanal niemals fallenlassen.
Ich weiß, dies ist nicht die beliebteste Idee und Politik meinerseits. Wie gesagt, ich fühle mich dabei, als ob ich meinen Arm abreißen würde. Ich hasse es dies tun zu müssen und ich weiß, dass meine Kollegen in Regierung und Bundestag es ebenfalls hassen. Diese Entscheidung wird unsere Wellness beeinträchtigen, da uns die Schlachten für's Krankenhaus fehlen. Ich kenne viele von euch, die nicht beim Militär sind und gerne UK im Krieg unterstützen würden, ich höre eure Belange. Ich verstehe das alles und kann es nachempfinden. Ich würde es jedoch nicht tun, wenn ich nicht davon überzeugt wäre es zum Wohle und zum Erhalt unserer Nation tun zu müssen. Ich rufe Deutschland auf, dies gemeinsam durchzustehen. Es handelt sich nur um eine vorübergehende Situation, haltet zusammen und seid stark, damit wir diese Zeit bald hinter uns lassen können. Wir erduldeten PTOs, Invasionen über Invasionen und wir erlitten das Exilleben. Ich weiß wir können auch dies überstehen. Ich weiß, Phoenix und die UK können das überstehen. Ich hoffe ihr versteht meine Gründe für diese Strategie. eDeutsche halten zusammen, praktizieren Einigkeit in Zeiten der Not und Bedrängnis. Das ist der Grund, warum eDeutsche unverwüstlich sind!
Beim Thema MPP, unser Bündnis mit Russland wird erneuert. Die Russen haben uns großartig bei der Verteidigung und Befreiung geholfen. Sie spendeten uns das Lhasa Gedächtniskrankenhaus im Saarland. Unser MPP mit ihnen wird bald auslaufen, deshalb habe ich heute eine Erneuerung beantragt. Bundestagsabgeordnete, stimmt bei der Allianz mit JA. eDeutschlands Sicherheit hängt davon ab.
Ich danke euch, dass ihr euch die Zeit genommen und die Mühe gmacht habt, diesen langen Artikel zu lesen und zu verstehen. Ich möchte noch einmal wiederholen, dass diese problematische Strategie für unser PÜberleben notwendig ist. Ich habe diese Entscheidung nicht leichtfertig getroffen, ebensowenig Phoenix oder UK. Bitte erduldet diese kurzzeitige Unregelmäßigkeit, bessere Zeiten sind bereits am Horizont.

I was new on the job as Vice MoFA and I was really excited and overjoyed to work on the drafting of this document which I hold dear in my heart. I worked with legends like Mr Woldy and The German Eagle and it was this document and treaty which gave me the experience to help draft and forum Phoenix. Therefore I do not like the Frankfurt Treaty lightly and I embrace it as something a part of me like my arm or a leg.
This makes what I am going to do even more difficult. eGermany is badly damaged now. We are vulnerable and we need to guarantee some time for healing and to make sure our security is maintain. With that said I will not renew our MPP with our good friends across the channel.
Many of our readers might not understand this. Why is our security maintain by not signing an alliance with a good friend like the eUK? On January 5th, the Polish military with the aid of EDEN forces destroyed and erased the state of Germany from the map. Therefore the Polish-German war is over. However our MPP with our allies still exist even when we are landless. With the help of Phoenix we are able to regain Saarland and Bavaria so the MPP we have still exist we are affected by it. Poland now focus on invading UK which triggers our MPP making us in the conflict again with Poland. They can strike at anytime and we will be powerless to defend ourselves. By ending the MPP with eUK, this will put us out of the conflict and if Poland wants to attack us, they need to declare war on us first giving us 24 hours or more to prepare.
I talked to Dishmcds the UK Prime Minister and he supported this plan. We also got support from Phoenix itself. It is their friendship and concern for our well being that they recommend this plan to us. We are not cutting and running but we are on the side line recovering first. When we regain our strength we will of course renew our commitments with the UK and so on. I just want to make sure all eGermans know that this is temporary and as soon as our condition change, we will continue our old commitments again.
The Frankfurt Treaty is not dead, far from it. While we are temporarily not signing a MPP with them, all other provisions like ATO and defense in regards to our military continues to function and exist. We will never abandon our good friends across the channel.
I know this is not the most popular idea or policy I make. Like I said I feel like giving up my arm doing so. I hate to do this and I know my colleagues in congress hates this too. This will cut our wellness with reduce or lack of wars. I know many of you who are not in the military want to help UK in their war efforts, I hear your concerns. I understand all of this and I sympathize with you. I will not resort to this unless I feel that this is absolutely needed for our survival and well being. Therefore I urge Germany now to remain strong and united. This is only a temporary situation and I urge eGermans to brave through this time period. We suffered PTO's, invasion after invasions, and we suffered exiles. I know we can get through this. I know Phoenix and the UK can get through this. I hope you understand the reason why we are going with this policy. eGermans stand together in union in times of hardship. This is why we eGermans are indestructible.
On the theme of MPP, we will renew our MPP with Russia. The Russians greatly aided our nation in our defense and liberation. They also donated the Lhasa Memorial Hospital in Saarland. Our MPP with them will expire soon and today I proposed to re-sign/ renew it. Congressmen and Congresswomen, I urge you to vote yes on it. eGerman security depends on our MPP with Russia.
I want to thank you for your time and effort in reading and understand this long article. I want to say one more time that this difficult policy is needed for our survival. I did not take this lightly and neither did the UK and Phoenix. Please endure this brief incontinence and better days are on the horizon.

Also von meiner Seite Zustimmung. eGermany hat mehr potential als eine Bevölkerung von 2000 und dieses Potential kann nicht ausgeschöpft werden, wenn wir in der Existenz bedroht sind. Im Moment sind wir eh nicht in der Lage unseren Allies viel zu helfen und unsere Wirtschaft liegt am Boden. Zeit Firmen zu errichten und die Löhne wieder klettern zu lassen. 2 DM für Skill 3 ist irgendwo lächerlich. Ein starkes eGermany hilft unseren Allies mehr als ein schwachses, aber kampfbereits eGermany.

@dokurobej: It would be a honour for me to mess with a level 16 kiddie...
we talked in pm and you know my feelings we should remaind in the war and keep fighting once france as been liberated we can continue to fight back but if the poles decide to block the french while the uk is blocked by one of the scandinavian countries our position and the entire western front is in danger of colapsing and we can´t expect the dutch to do all the work or blocking one after another expecially considering that they have no way to attack spain to block them
I think that the reasons for this decision are understandable, but on the other hand i belive that the war of the eUK is the biggest and fastest possibility for eGermany to own more than 2 regions.
While eGermany was conquerd i went to London and fought for the eUK. If i left the battle now, i would feel like a coward. Probably i will migrate to a country that has MPPs with the eUK and eGermany to have the possibility to fight for both whenever necessary.
A tough decision but I believe it was the right one.

Although I'm not in favor of I will stand for your decision because I know it was made by wise men.
As long aqs this decision is made with and not without our alies I believe it is the right one! We can support eUK even without a MPP but have at least a little bit less concerns about these pole, but as allways there are no garantuees.

Hm, wahrscheinlich bin ich zu neu um zu verstehen, wie es Deutschland sicherer machen soll, wenn wir unsere Bündnisse aufgeben.
Ich weiß nicht, ob es wirklich eine gute Entscheidung war, daran ändert auch das ganze übertriebene Pathos in der Erlärung nichts.
In spite of that decision the german elitetroups will fight for Phoenix and of course for eUK.
It's only a tactical maneuver and it's necessary, but we don't like it.

kann man nicht iwo noch einen TW starten? Wenn wir schon einen KH haben, können wir uns so wenigstens die Wellness hoch halten ...
@eChrisTheOne - TWs kosten mindestens 75 Gold pro Stück (als RW) und 200 als Angriff. die RW-variante geht bei uns momentan nicht weil wir keine gegnerischen regionen unter deutscher herrschaft haben, die man befreien könnte. und auch die 200 gold für den angriff müssen erstmal rangeschafft werden.

If ePoland *would* want us (again) eradicated it could do so cheaply in a "regular" war -- and it looks like it didn't want to because we already exist some days 😉 despite having activated MPPs against them.
Die Entscheidung wurde von weisen Männern unterstütz und umgesetzt, aber trotzdem kann ich es nicht ganz nachvollziehen.
If the EKs were used too stand besides UK it will be good Decision. But dont isolate eGermany.

"in guten wie in schlechten zeiten" gilt auch bei einem Bündnis. Als wir sie brauchten, standen sie uns bei... und nun brauchen sie UNS ! Wenn Polen wollte, hätten sie das saarland und bayern schon längst zurückerobert ! Wir sollten unserer Pflicht nachkommen und nun an der Britischen Front mitkämpfen.
Ich finde das diese Entscheidung unserer Ehre und Ansehen schadet!
Nun ja, es kostet nicht nur Lebens-, sondern vor allem Erfahrungspunkte. Mit Kämpfen sind 13 EP pro Tag drin, ohne gerade mal 3. Leuten mit höheren Leveln das recht wurscht sein, am anderen Ende der Ketten, bei der man noch auf die Levelaufstiege angewiesen ist, um überhaupt irgendwas machen zu können, sieht das aber anderes aus. Funktioniert zwar erst ab Level 5, aber dann kann man doch schnell die Karriereleiter erklimmen und die ganzen Möglichkeiten relativ schnell freischalten. Das motiviert auch, durchzuhalten, auch wenn man nicht alles nutzt oder nutzen kann. Aber ich hoffe, das wurde bei der Entscheidung berücksichtigt.
There are not only wellness but also experience points which get lost. With fights you kann made 13 ep per day, whitout fighting only three. For people in higher levels like 12 , 20 and so on, this could bee almost regardless, but for the people with lower levels ike 5, 6 and so on, it is something different. You have do make experience and levels to unlock the features, also you would not use all directly. But it motivates when you see that you get more and more options you could do. With fights you can unlock much faster than without and it is more motivating, while without fights it could bei very demotivating if you have you wait days or weeks to get more influence in the live of eRepublic. But i hope, this thinks were in the minds of the Decision Makers when they made there decision.

Ich glaube die Idee ist ebenfalls schlecht und bleibe daher vorerst in England und werde nicht nach Deutschland zurückkehren.

I feel like I just been kicked in the teeth I know this choice was made by the higher ups but this is wrong to me.Have outlived our usefulness I hope not made some good friends amongst our German allies.
Why are you renewing your MPP with Russia and not us I fought in Saarland, Bavaria,Rhineland and Lower Saxony. I paid for moving tickets out of my own pocket for your refugees all I can say is Thank you for my time and money well spent not.
I am truly sorry if I upset anyone with my earlier outburst.The non renewing was explained to me in more detail and it makes more sense to me now after the explaintion.
I still dislike it but I understand it now.

Durch die fehlenden Battles in Britain werden wir doch auch geschwächt. Wird nicht dazu beitragen, dass eGermany wieder bevölkert wird, denke ich..

Bitte lasst uns jetzt nicht schon wieder langweillig werden. Das kleine Land Bulgarien hat die MPPs von Rumänien und Griechenland aktiviert und inzwischen haben sie über 10k Bürgern. Und was machen wir ? Jetzt haben wir die Chance Spass zu haben, hinter uns stehen starke Verbündete und wir kämpfen gegen ein Polen das Pleite ist... EIER müssen wir haben !!
Action, Krieg und etwas Riskieren, nur so können wir neue Bürger dazugewinnen und die älteren hauen uns nicht ab... so then..
jetzt haben wir es wieder geschafft.. alle hauen ab 😁 über die Zukunft einer Geisterstadt zu entscheiden bringt nicht viel
