Happy belated new year!

Personally I wouldn't mind having an old year. 96 was cool. Windows 95 was the new hotness. AOL was a trolling paradise, and the internet in general was new and shiny. But we all get old and things change. It sucks but it's true. I know some of you remember the golden years of the internet but I'd like to share some mammaries err memories of mine. Yes 96 was an arbitrary choice but I was 16 then and let's face it things go downhill from there lol.

I had friends with computers back then. Technically I had one but it was an old IBM ps/2 286 so couldn't do much more than write programs on turbo Pascal and play wolfenstein 3d. If I had a dollar for every time we got kicked off AOL or IRC for TOS violations I'd be Bill Gates rich. Of course now we'd be sued or something stupid.

Skipping ahead to my first erep memories I'm not sure what year it was tbh. What I do remember is it was very basic. Also like an idiot I picked Poland as my homeland since I'm polish af. I didn't know wtf was happening because I don't speak polish lol but I got a job and played around a bit until I lost interest and poofed for a few years. I messed around a bit with nationstates and cybernations before bouncing back here. I had to start over though that was no big loss lol. I was originally a Yankee but soon realized they were dinks and moved north to eCanada where I've been since early 2010. I've seen so many people come and go. Good people, annoying people and any other type you can think of. But no matter who was playing this has been my home. Throughout many clusterfecks by the owners of erep I came and went. Some names haven't changed. Some have passed away (RIP yall). Some have moved on to other things. But through it all this has been my home. I friggin love you guys. No homo. I'm glad I found you guys. Even when I'm a drunken idiot (like now lol) I get at least a few votes. Stay awesome eCanada and I hope not only this year but every year we exist is awesome.

Sorry it's not as fancy as usual but I'm stuck using my phone. Stupid lousy 10yo PC died.
