eRepublik Gold is a fictional currency used in the eRepublik World. It is the main reference point for all the local virtual currencies (examples: USD, GBP) and it is used to buy additional features (such as companies) within eRepublik.



How to get gold

There are different ways to get Gold.
* Buy Gold (in packs of 1 Euro/2 Gold, 4.9 Euro/11 Gold, 9.9 Euro/25 Gold, 24.9 Euro/65 Gold, 59.9 Euro/175 Gold or 99.9 Euro/300 Gold)
* Purchase a special pack or a stash which contains gold
* Increase your citizens level. Every Level up you achieve will award you with 1 G.
* Buy it on the monetary market in exchange for local currencies.
* Every time you receive an achievement, (5 Gold), unless its a Battle Hero you will also gain either 2/3/4/5 Gold (depending on your division 1/2/3/4). Any type of achievement can be rewarded multiple times.
* Every time a citizen invited by you obtains any of these you will get an additional 10% of the Gold obtained by your friend.



Using Gold

A number of actions require Gold.

Political
* Creating a political party (cost: 40 Gold)
* The Issue money law (cost: 1 national currency = 0.005 Gold)

Economical
* Creating a company (cost: 10 Gold)
* Buying a company (cost: varies)
* Buying an export license for your company (cost: 20 Gold)
* Upgrading your company's production quality (cost: varies, minimum: 20 Gold)

Military
* Starting an official war (cost: minimum 200 Gold)
* Creating a Military Unit (cost: 40 Gold)



Other
* Improving your wellness (cost: 0.5 Gold)
* Creating a newspaper (cost: 2 Gold)
* Publishing an article in another country: in a direct war (10 Gold), with an embargo (15 Gold), any other country (2 Gold)
