Join the new world

Greetings citizens of Louisiana and anyone who decides to move there during elections! I decided to wait and write my article on my run so late because most voters only read campaign articles right before they vote.

My name is The Trojan and I’m running for Congress in Louisiana. I’ve been on eRepublik since Day 460 so my time here isn’t the longest but I’m not a rookie either. I am very active on most eUSA party forums so I know how each party thinks and runs.


My main opponent is the current congressman of Louisiana and is supported by the Federalist Party, United Independents Party, the Conservative Party, and the Libertarian Party. I will be supported by the America’s Advancement Party, Republican Party, American Right Party, Nationalist Party, and partly by the U.S. Capitalist Party. The United States Workers Party endorses AAP candidates as well as AAP doing the same for them so if they don’t have a serious candidate, I do believe I have their support as well. I wish my opponent the best of luck in the election because I believe either of us would be great congressmen for Louisiana.


Enough about endorsements…..on with the reason you are reading this lengthy bit of text.

Firstly, our current international alliance issue is a problem but word is that the guys in the big house are working on a solid plan. I support a strong alliance with MPP’s with all allies so we can defend them while sitting in our home country at the nearest Q5 hospital nearest you. As an experienced country, we must choose our allies wisely so nothing like the Swedish-German conflict will arise once more.

Government Transparency is a topic supported by every good candidate for congress because it should. Other than national security matters, all government operations should be openly given out to the citizens. The Public Information Act (PIA for short) is a great start for this push. I implore every congressperson who wins the election of their given state to follow the PIA and let the citizens know what is going on behind closed doors.

Bipartisanship (or mulitpartisan ship in eRepublik’s case) is very important for national unity. This is one of my most important values. As a proud member of the Nationalist Party, I believe this country should be united as one. Nationalism needs to be strong in a country as great as ours to succeed against the peace (as Joe DaSmoe sai😛 “peace, looks better small”) tyranny. When I speak of unity, I do not mean our beliefs. No! Our separate beliefs as citizens make up what this country stands for, which is freedom. We must unite as a country through co-operation and hard work to accomplish our goals.

Hospitals are a hot topic these days because no one really knows the advantages or disadvantages of having more Q5 hospitals or sticking with only 2. I personally believe we need to place Q5 hospitals and defense systems in states bordering a peace country or a country in danger of being overrun by peace. This way our country is safer and more secure. Security and the well being of citizens are very important to this country in our mission to bring peace to justice.

Many programs in the eUSA are very useful and important to new citizens who need a good push to get started. Two such programs are the National Guard and the Meals on Wheels. The NG helps newcomers learn how to fight and keep their wellness up and the MoW program is used just before citizens can fight so they can have an easier start than citizens like me who struggled at the beginning. It has helped my good friend, SinNomine, who I invited to this game. He is “living” proof of how programs can keep new citizens active.

That leads me to my next point: Activity. This is one of the keys along with National Unity to unlock our potential as a great country. We have too many new citizens who quit because they are confused or lose interest. My primary objective on this situation is to fully support all programs aimed at helping newcomers to the game and I will continue to personally help them out as I have for awhile now. (Speaking of: any new citizen who is reading this and has questions about anything in the game, please don’t hesitate to send me a message and ask. I will answer as soon as I can.)

My final point is an obvious focal point of mine. That is war. I am a believer in RAWR (which in my definition means all out war for the right reasons, not some frenzied and pointless attack) and I fully support our military. It is one of the best run organizations I have ever seen. It should be given everyone’s full support since this game is focused around war.
