Food For Thought

Day 1,765, 19:29 Published in Ireland United Kingdom by Lord Jeffrey

I would just like to take this opportunity to say I am pleased to report that I am back as PP and ready to take our party to the next step. I really for the hard work I have done and want to accomplish still. I reallty the appreciate the mandate I was given from the party as it is great validation for the hard work I have been doing. We are fastest growing party in Ireland and I am really excited about the future.

The real purpose of my article today was just to make people think about the upcoming congressional elections. I heard people say on more than one occasion that the Dáil (or Congress) does not matter, I guess being the implication is that government does all the real work and the Dáil are just a bunch of stooges.

This might not entirely be true...

Of course, last term we saw how important the Dáil was, they were important enough to throw us into war against a country we could not beat, with no promise or assurance of support from our allies. We didn't even do our homework or we would have known that Canada was backing out of the war with Poland at the same time we decided to go to war.

I asked several people the question about how on earth could they let this war happen. The administration was silent, and none of the party figures wanted to accept responsibility for the war, or quietly supported it (with some notable exceptions of course on "quietly") despite their control of Congress.

NO one is responsible for this allegedly besides some random people who wanted to have "fun" by getting wiped in a war we couldn't win:

I don't have to say that it appears pretty obvious where the responsibility was for the war and its consequences.

Such an unplanned, pointless, stupid decision would never have happened in an IUP controlled Congress. We need a stable, organized and active party to protect our interests at home and protect from outside threats to our country.

So when you are thinking about where to place your vote next election try something different, vote IUP. If for not other reason that we are evidently the only party who would be guardians against such a completely and utterly dumb decision as I discuss above. There is so much more though, and we have just begun. We have created here a movement that is growing very quickly and we would love to have you on board.

IUP: We don't do stupid sh*t with your vote
