Fair Play?

Things have gone bad,

You wonder why? Come on.... you know the answer... but if you don’t know the answer yet I’ll try to explain in the following lines.
So far I have been a fair player, I started my account on November the 26th of 2009, until now I tried to help our community as much as possible from different positions, except from my ingame activity/character, I also contacted some personal RL friends trying to promote eRepublik and my Country. Why I did all these? One simple answer ... because I love my community, I love my Country and I liked the GAME. So here comes the critical question. What were your earnings after all?

NONE is the answer!

And this is because YOU (the dev team) haven’t shown any respect to my tries, my efforts, my community, my fellow players the FAIR players.
Of course I am not asking for a medal, or a badge or a congratulation letter, I am just asking for some R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Let’s get to the point now!

With the new system a new player can reach level 17 within one day without paying a single penny.
Is that wrong? Of course not why shall it be wrong? Of course it is u headless chicken because I have been playing this game for a YEAR and I am LVL 25, because I am trying to have some clean elections and one player can create 50 accounts within a day, and to be exact within few hours and he is getting elected, because my country starts a war and the opponent is using numerous bots to fight, because I conquer a country and by that time they ‘ve got less than 1000 gold and within less than a month they have more than 12k, because one country today has 7000 citizens and within a month they have 20K, because a group of players have a bunch of farms/companies with multi-eworkers, because a bunch of players have companies producing products and raw materials out of thin air, because YOU the developers instead of fixing the existing bugs you add a feature called About me!, because we submit a ticket with our concerns and you reply a week or more later, because we submit a ticket twice for the same issue and we receive 2 contradictive answers either from the same person or from a different one! I can keep writing and giving you reasons why you don’t respect Me and Our Community but that’s not the point!

The point is that you didn’t respect me from the very beginning and now it is too late!
The last 48 hours I am talking with friends and the only thing I am listening to is that they are not willing to play fair anymore! I quote a friend of mine who said” we will fight fire with fire; if they are using bots to win we will use bots as well”.

To conclude... is that all you want?...is your only target to reach the 400000 accounts no matter if they are all fake?is your target to have on one hand some players spending thousands of Real life money to defend their countries and have some fun and on the other hand armies of bots and players who got gold and money with unlawful ways?

I am very disappointed I joined the game because I thought we could create at least a virtual world better than the Real one, without corruption, without thieves, but I am afraid we can live that dream we can’t build a better community because at the end all that matters are the NUMBERS.

I don’t want to play a lame game, I don’t want my community to start a cheating/hacking competition. It is a strategy browser game it is not the hackers/cheater competition 2010... or maybe not?

Help us so we could do the same...

The above text is written only because today I am feeling a BIG LOSER not because of a lost battle, but because I lost my faith on you...I don’t want to start any kind of public debate I just want my voice to be heard
