Welcome to Dictator Island!

17 contestants have signed up, and they have been knocked out, had a tracker hammered into their skull, and air dropped onto one of the 18 marked starting points on Dictator Island.

Their positions are not known to them, though it is possible as the game progresses that they will be able to figure out where on the map they are.

Nor will the positions of individuals be disclosed to the public; however we shall follow their movements on the beautiful OS map of the Isle of Arran Dictator Island!



To recap: Players will make ‘a move’ every day of dictator island. This will determine in which direction they travel - North, East, West, South; North East, South West ETC ETC. Landmarks, towns, roads and mountains exist on the island as they do in the above map.

I shall then process the turn; if players encounter a township, monument, another player then stuff happens. Players will be contacted to input more instructions if that arises. Their input statistics will influence the outcomes of these events, which are ultimately determined on the roll of a dice.

The aim is to find The Golden Johnnies, and get them to a port. The winner receives 10,000 cc.

Each player has been assigned a random item to begin with which may help or hinder their journey. The items are as follows:
Grandad’s civil war bayonet; a bicycle; an ‘avengers’ tin lunchbox; a pistol (with 10 bullets); a Woldomatic participant tracker (with 2 dead batteries); a skeleton key; Bacchus’ wine; a first aid kit; a hatchet; a tinder box and flint; a hammer; kevlar body armour; camouflage clothes; a multipack of heinz baked beans; a Golden Johnnie detection device (with 4 dead batteries); an IKEA flatpack assembly toolbox; and some handcuffs.

Who has which item has been communicated to the participants in question. They were allocated by a random number generator, and their use shall become evident as the game progresses.

Players may take the items from dead people and may find new items as they explore Dictator Island.
