Join the new world

Firstly, welcome to the game and well done for finding this article. I am fairly new to the game myself, but have picked up some useful information that I think is best shared to help those unsure what to do.

1. Wiki and Forums
These should be the first places you check after you've set up your citizen. There isn't too much I can tell you that isn't wrapped up in there somewhere.

2. Invite Your Friends
This is a great idea, you currently have 5 invites which are worth 5 gold each. You need to make sure that your friend will accept the invitation however, since you will lose the invite and the 5 gold that go with it. The gold can be used in the game for setting up a business or running a political party, or just exchanged for your local currency.

3. Find Yourself A Job
This is the one many people struggle with. You should obviously fill in your CV for prospective employers to see, but there are so many they may not be seen. I will happily offer you a job, even if you have never worked before! Just send me an email and I will make sure you gte a job offer in the food industry!

4. Go To Work Everyday
This is very self explanatory, but you must make sure that you work everyday. Their is no need to lose on on wages, and it actually helps your employer if you have a 100% attendance record. If someone doesn't work for 3 days, I tend to sack them without hesitation since it is affecting my production (even though I don't pay you when your not there!

5. Train In The Army
I don't personally train, since it affects my wellness too much for my liking. You may feel thats its best since you will be helping out your country when it needs it most!

6. Always Keep Food In Your Inventory
When you start playing i believe that you have 5 food in your inventory. This will last for 5 days and is automatically taken from your inventory, so no need to worry about eating. You should just make sure that you buy the food from the Marketplace. There are different quality foods out there. Q1 increases your wellness by 1 points, whereas Q4 would increase your wellness by 4 points. In the beginning, I think it best to just buy the cheaper Q1 foods since I dont think we really need to worry too much about wellness right now as long as we keep it below 50 I would say. Others will argue to this point and i'm sure they are right in their own mind, but we can't really afford expensive foods right now can we?

Just remember to always keep food in your inventory. Everyday without food decreases your wellness by 5 points! Drop to 0 and you DIE!!!

7. Keep An Eye On Your Wellness
Now before you say anything, in the above point I did say don't worry about this to much for now, but it doesn't hurt to keep an eye on it. I'm pretty certain, that wellness affects how well you work for your employer. While this won't bother you too much right now, future employers may request that you keep your wellness above certain levels to stay employed. To bump up your wellness, you can start eating better quality foods or receive gifts. You receive 1 point x quality level for gifts received. If you look on the forums, a few people may set up gift partnerships with each other to boost both their wellness'.

8. Write Some Articles
I know many people recommend doing this, but its upto you really. I enjoy writing so its good for me, I also get a feel good feeling about myself when I know people have been reading my work. There is no money to be made from starting a media company. But they can be used to promote your company or political party, so all is not lost. 9. Join A Political Party
If you see a political party that you like the sound of, why not join it and run for the Local Elections? If you think you could make a difference, and would like to then this maybe for you!
