After i wrote my column last Thursday i wanted to know if my feeling about the Old Boys Network called Congress was right. So after yesterdays election i ran down some numbers from the elected Congressmen.

United States Workers Party now have 14 seats in Congress, in total those 14 men have 148 terms experience, on average that is 10.6 terms, they have 2 Congressmen who are new, and 10 COngressmen with more then half a year of experience

Federalist Party have now 17 seats in Congress, in total those 17 men have 122 terms experience, on average that is 7.2 terms, they have 4 Congressmen who are new, and 6 COngressmen with more then half a year of experience

American Military Party now have 10 seats in Congress, in total those 10 men have 94 terms experience, on average that is 9.4 terms, they have 2 Congressmen who are new, and 4 COngressmen with more then half a year of experience

We The People now have 8 seats in Congress, in total those 8 men have 58 terms experience, on average that is 7.3 terms, they have 1 Congressman who is new, and 5 COngressmen with more then half a year of experience

The Black Sheep Party now have 7 seats in Congress, in total those 7 men have 29 terms experience, on average that is 4.1 terms, they have 3 Congressmen who are new, and 10 COngressmen with more then half a year of experience



Now looking at all those numbers i feel that my feeling was correct, lots of people in Congress who are in there for a long time. I am not saying that is a bad thing, just the tendency with people doing the same thing over and over again is that they tend to block new ideas or think outside their concrete box.

Looking forward to this term like i did every previous time i was elected, really hope Congress can find a way to work with each other instead of trying te the term done with throwing mud and trying to make each others life miserable.
