Welcome to round 9 of the AFL season, and the eighth week of eFooty tipping. Soon we'll be in double digits and the cricket season will be back, ahh.....

How does it work? Endorse this article for $10 to buy in for the round. Post your tipped winner and margin in the comments. Correct tip and closest margin will take all, plus $10 for mine (since I can't endorse my own article). Obviously, no double ups on margins and tips though bracketing around someone is both funny and accepted. First come - first served.



Tips will be taken until bounce down. We're outside Melbourne this week. At last!

Don't understand the game? It doesn't matter, have a guess like me! This is an Aussie winter pastime. If you ask me, it involves men in shorts shorter than the Village People ever wore and muscle shirts giving each other hugs for tacks. And trying to kick goals. Every goal is worth 6 points, but if you miss by a little bit you still get 1 point. So, the score will end up being something like 6.10 (46), which means 6 goals and 10 misses. And that adds up to 46 points in total.


This week's tip: Carlton suck. And have sucked since the 90's sometime. They lost very badly last week (by 10 goals...), and then sacked their coach (who happens to hold the all-time record for games coached). If you think they're going to do any better against a team with 3 or more premierships in the last 10 years you're sadly mistaken...
