Good Evening eAustralia,
As I begin this article, let's be honest. No one likes being told they got it wrong by a guy they don't like. I know I'm that guy to a lot of you, but it's time for you to take your medicine.

It talks about the CoT Court Decision that found both eAustralia and eChile GUILTY of breaking the 'eAustralia Terms of Conditional Surrender', ooops, sorry I meant 'Treaty'

Majester hopes this would mean eChile would also get wiped like our country for being found guilty, but let's be honest, NOTHING will happen.
In fact, this mess was predicted by me on December 17 in the Public Gallery of the eAustralia forums.

Furthermore, I note that is nothing in the terms to suggest Chile should help us protect our returned regions. That is, Chile could return the region to us (meeting their obligations) then *suggest* to Indonesia they take them. Memories of the Indonesia NAP, with the following Brazil attack on us come to memory.
BINGO! I've been playing this game long enough to know that you can never, ever trust eIndonesia. You have to think a few steps ahead. When this 'deal' was being done with eChile, little thought was given by the then PM or his MoFA team on what would the Indos do.
Meanwhile, the FAIL for our nation kept on coming. As Greg (the then PM) tried to egg out this deal with eChile, eChile started an RW in the Northern Territory BEFORE terms had been agreed to by our senate.

Chile knew that by starting this RW in NT they were setting us up.
If we fight and win, they will demand the deal is signed (even if we don't like it) and we pay $200,000 to the neutral country.
If we fight and lose on purpose to avoid the deal, they will say they gave us a chance and take the morale high ground.
eChile saw the play coming. From not only trapping us into a deal, they knew at some stage we would have to break. By our own hand, or it being forced by eArgentina lead RWs or Indonesian threats. It was a deal set up to blow up in our face.
Around the sound time, by thinking of this deal was confirmed by older player Schoft who started a thread in the public gallery...

Chile does not want to give us any regions back, wants us in the same alliance or have no intention what so ever. So why do we waste our time discussing this, its not going to end up in tears because the tears are already here.
He hit the nail on the head. However, for some strange reason, some people had this bong induced thinking that CoT would accept us and we'd be friends with eChile, eNZ and eIndonesia... ain't gonna happen!

Despite all of this, some people still wanted to make this eChile deal happen and have us move towards a Pro CoT stack.
In fact, some people where so angry with the suggestion of any opposition to us not joining CoT they made threats.

Hopefully we now wake up to the reality that we got played by CoT. Like I said many articles ago, CoT stood for Circle of Traitors.
So let's stop worry about what we do and how it will look in CoT's eyes, let's move on to make friends with countries that want to be friends with us.
The process has already begun with a new MPP with the eCzech Republic, with the financial help of yours truly.
Maybe, just maybe, we might be as brave as eIreland who has a big bully (Spain) threaten them not to vote to become proEDEN, but instead said "We may be out-gunned, but SCREW YOU, you don't tell out country what to do".

I think it was pretty well known that the court was never going to rule in our favour. I'm really interested to see what our FA team will do from here. Hopefully it will be positive.
We have had at least one positive happen so far, the Czech MPP. They maybe small, but would value our help. Good way to start building friendships.
I remember the period well as a Senator desperately trying to avoid the treaty. Greg and his infamous FA team tried to ram the treaty through Senate using very dubious tactics. Surely a shameful period of history best put behind us.

MC this article annoys me....you act like the ppl who wanted to wait for the verdict thought it was going to be in our favor...we were all pretty sure it wouldn't be and a lot of pplcalled the (both sides at fault) weeks ago...but now we get to say to the world that we honestly tried to make things workout but CoT wont have it...like I said before now is the time to look at other options because NOW is the right time...

I think most of us knew that the CoT court decision wouldn't be in our favour, no matter what they actually believe. It's too lucrative for CoT to keep us wiped. Shame that they can't be honest instead of assholes, but there you have it.

From my country (Argentina) point of view: I think you need to get closer to the USA. Honestly, I think it's the only country that can help you right now. We (Argentina) may help you now, or eventually, but if we do, that will only anger CoT further againt you (they, as you may know, don't like us at all). Approach the only country with not only the balls to side with you, but the actual power to do so, the USA (which I don't think have much of a future in CoT anyway).
