Well just finished my first full day at my new crappy job. I remember why I got away from food service now. I want nothing but to drink/smoke myself into a goddamn coma. My avatar has never been more appropriate.
Kids if you read this I just have a couple things to tell you. STUDY YOU TWATS! Holy balls! That and go to college if at all possible. I regret nothing however except my unwillingness to turn to a life of crime. If you ever wonder what to do in life just ask yourself "What would Dopes do?" then do the fucking opposite.
Editors note: The author is rather tired and crabby right now. I don't blame him. Who in their right mind keeps a pizza place open till 3 in the morning in TOLEDO friggin OHIO of all places? Also that last sentence of his is NOT saying to turn to a life of crime even though it does read that way.

Oh believe me that's the only reason I'm there. I sure wouldn't do this for fun. LOL I'm not THAT much of a masochist. Food service is just the worst. Get to work almost 12 damn hours later today. Yay.
I know how you feel. I was a cook in a cafe in local town here.
Horrible. Especially weekends. End up doing between 120-180 orders.
Boss had the wonderfull idea to put me on alone on a public holiday. Did about 200 orders that day. Then got yelled at by the boss for not having time to do dishes aswell. I quit quickly after that.
Holy crap! We just opened so we have spurts but it's nothing like that.

It was great when I worked for a pizzeria when I was in school - lots of free food and lots of time to do homework the last few hours of the night - I got paid per delivery so I could do whatever I wanted between deliveries
PS, school-schmool, its a little over-rated - just get experience however you can in the field you want to work in - volunteer if you have to - I went the school route but was always jealous of some of the guys I went to school with who got going in construction and the trades right out of school and were already making it big time before I ever got my first real job at the bottom of rung of the corporate ladder
