DoFA - A brief update

Day 2,451, 13:23 Published in Australia Australia by Australian Foreign Affairs

G'day Aussies,

Well as you know by now we lost our only region in Jizan - Saudi Arabia, now we have over two weeks to try to gain a region back in time so we can again hold a senate. Of course with a senate comes more options for a country, such as moving money from the treasury to the reserve bank so a senate is a valuable tool. Also it allows our political parties a good platform for activity by returning members to senate to represent their party.

Some of you are wondering why we do not retake Jizan, well as we do not border Saudi Arabia we would need to launch an Airstrike, now these cost some serious money and gold so you can not launch them regularly. Also to launch an Airstrike you need a region from which to launch it from...and of course you need to still have that launch region and win the Airstrike battle to land and retake Jizan, if you lose all your regions before you win the Airstrike battle then it ends in defeat whether it is still being fought or not regardless of the score. At the moment this isn't possible.

Fear not though because we have many options available to us and there is a lot of diplomacy and talks behind the scenes both with friends and foes to make sure we do not see our community shrink anymore. As soon as details can be released on any plans that are passed then you will be kept fully informed so please don't think you are being kept in the dark.

I know some are skeptical about the help we haven't received, this is understandable when we have just received such a body blow as being wiped again...however in the past few months we have seen two strong allies launch costly Airstrikes to help and liberate us (Slovenia and Greece), many allied countries and Military Units donated weapons, time, effort and Campaign Orders to helping us in our many battles recently and we have had allies attempt pushes for us...so we have not been alone.

Apologies for this brief article but we just want you to be aware of one or two things and as you can imagine in the first day things are very hectic as people settle and new channels of communications are opened...and finally remember, if you don't fight for your allies then how can you expect them to fight for you?
