Dear eIrish citizens,
Our proposed candidate for interim has decided not to take the position. Therefore, I shall be filling in as dictator for ten days.
As per Article 2 of our constitution, the process will be adhered to as best we can given the circumstances.
The committee is going to be made up as follows:
AoifeNiBhriain representing the ILP
Don Croata representing OE
Rikian1776 representing IFP
Over the 24-hour application period, we received a total of two applicants:
-moomoohead
-An Sluagh
Both of these applicants have been deemed eligible by the committee.
As of the posting of this article at 03:53 eRepublik time on day 2,829 the 24-hour time limit for the applicants to post an article stating why they should be chosen has begun.

Were you not eMalaysian when you started back in eRep in December? If so then you are ineligible to be Dictator, under Article 2 Section II part B "If the Dictator applicant was born a eForeigner, he/she must of held Irish citizenship for a minimum of 1 year immediately prior to appointment in eIreland."
Not that your a threat nor am I being picky but my job is to ensure the Constitution is adhered too and atm its being breached

However, an exception was made in my case as I started in the wrong place by accident and I played this **GAME** before. I have been in contact with eIreland since day one. It would be moronic not to let either myself or Tara C run because of a mistake, especially when we are two of the most active, if not the most active, people in the game. We are considered as born eIrish because of our huge involvement in this country. Plus, we are both Irish citizens in real life. It's everyone's job to ensure the constitution is being adhered to, and it is not being breached at this moment. The committee validated the applicants.
Also, fix the grammar in the constitution as, according to real life dominating European legislation, it is invalid as it makes no sense:
"If the Dictator applicant was born AN eForeigner, he/she must HAVE held Irish citizenship for a minimum of 1 year immediately prior to appointment in eIreland."
a) You may not be running but you have been appointed as Dictator and the Constitution doesnt specify that someone has to be elected dictator to be subject to criteria
b) A technicality is not a valid excuse. Anyone could say they started in the wrong place to gain citizenship etc.
c) As you say this is a game, so being real Irish counts for nothing
d) If you have a problem with the grammar of the Constituion take it out with moo as he wrote it.
a) There is no constitutional reference preventing such from occurring. I was not elected in so there is no governing constitution.
b) It was perfectly acceptable to every single other citizen, and I was validated by the committee. I suppose they realise that this is a game.
c) Yes, I agree. However, you seem to act as though it is so I was making a point from your apparent beliefs.
d) I recall you said you would correct any grammatical errors.
