joseph Heller wrote the epic Catch 22 about world war 2 bomber pilots and their angst and fear.

Yossarian the main character wants to quit the force due to being mentally unstable.

Catch 22 however says a person who says he is mentally unstable cannot be mentally unstable and his requests is subsequently denied.

Looking at the screenshot are we in for another catch 22 as an inactive player becomes president.

Anyway I think we may look also why a person that made no campaign articles is leading.

Buckles made lots of campaign promises whilst Trito Fisher concentrated on game mechanics.

Trito like small party politics is meant to do highlighted an important issue.

And with 2 major players now being non compus mentis (being inactive means your character dont think)a serious issue has became evident.

People leaving! Im certain I can claim credit for all but wont .

Trito say look at the game. Looking at the game from other players viewpoints I can see how making no money and basically scraping by can be a tad boring.

The theory of the final click is very much relevant. When will be your final click? In Mob Wars I reached level 600 or so before making my final click .

I think Trito is quite correct and CP's must address game issues as well .

One almost have to do nothing. ATM im building up work tickets till their 100 before unleashing my workers again.

The game has become repetitive. Making money has become almost impossible. I used to be near 10 gold a day. I wonder these days whether I would hit 2 gold even.

eRepublik has downsized all industries.

On a social level we should become used to that we are no longer a massive fighting force and perhaps focus on social aspects.

In Tribal Wars I did manage to create a good alliance together with a wedding singer and a loose affiliation of mostly american /british players. Our star player was some girl who managed to create a very good social page using stock standard Internet games like count to a 1000 or word association.

Perhaps think of other options maybe clusters. Pooling smaller groups together

Perhaps players with massive inventories should form buy groups simply buying and buying offers before dropping it at a bigger prize. My inventory stands at 356000 .

Plato is obviously not going to do anything about the game. His bottom line might be increasing when players buy say 6000 gold to buy 10 Q7 factories to make them more competitive.

That is the nature of business...sometimes negative business strategies makes you more money. The more the game suck the more money Plato makes. And once a player gets over the spend barrier he might justify just as easily higher spends.

Should we boycott gold buying . My feeling is No since it may have no effect other than getting a few persons banned.

Collective bargaining should be the way to go. Aliances must extend now to economic alliances as well. Take the entire Aurora and tell them to buy up all of the Q7 offers below a certain amount. Channel this from the citizens who buy it allocate a certain portion as charity to be distributed to needy countries or small MU and our entire alliance will grow.

Trito is correct economic change should be addressed at a higher level.

And today is just as good a day as any to start.
