Czech Government: Vote NO on Impeachment

Day 584, 11:52 Published in Czech Republic Czech Republic by Vlada Ceske Republiky
Update: There are now 10 NO votes to 3 YES votes in the Impeachment proposal. The law would only pass with 66% of congress agreeing, and as Johny Gomez and yyytttvvv have left that means Franz Kafka is safe.

Update 2: Another congressman, Machloj (CeL) has left the congress and fled with the gold to Poland.

Update 3: As has janjordy, however he has at least apologised for leaving.

Since the Congress Elections finished just over 11 hours ago, some of the elected citizens have decided to abuse their power and take the rewards that should have gone to real Czech Politicians. Only a few hours after taking office and claiming the gold that comes with the position, two congressmen have already fled. Johny Gomez and yyytttvvv, both members of the Ultor-backed Libertarian Socialist Alliance and the only two representatives of that party have both left the congress. In yyytttvvv's case, he has also left the country.

Indecent proposals

Johny Gomez, to his credit, left silently. yyytttvvv, on the other hand, has proposed two laws to congress. Another seemingly rouge congressman, DaRuler, has also proposed two laws. The Czech Government advises all Czech Congressmen to vote No here, here, here and here. The chances are, as soon as the votes are underway, DaRuler will leave the congress as yyytttvvv has already. Congressmen can only propose two laws, and once these are used up there is little point in becoming a member.

One curious point, if a president is impeached, the runner-up in the election will take his place, i.e. Jura52. However, Jura is currently in Indonesia and the wiki says that if the second choice is not in the country, the third choice will become president. Since the last elections had only two candidates, there is no third choice, so there is no one to take Franz Kafka's place. I don't know what would happen, but I advise all congress men not to try and find out!
