CP Committee: What Comes Next?

This was by far one of the closest and most dramatic elections in eIrish history. First of all we had 4 candidates run for CP this month, one of which was well in the race till the votes started reaching over 40. Not many multis were used in the election which is always a positive sign. The end was dramatic, with the typical multi-checking taking longer than usual and the delay in results. The Committee won by ONE vote!
So what comes next? We face a tough February and The Committee will not stop to try to resolve these current issues in a timely and considerate manner. The responsibility of The Committee is to make well-informed, rational, and potentially progressive decisions and solutions to issues. To re-cap the Presidential Cabinet:
Committee Members: Nogin the Nog, Cydp, Ian E Coleman, Liam Tatlock, and MikeBane.
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Moomoohead & BrianBoru
Minister of Defense: Seanan
Minister of Finance: Appleman
Minister of Community: Winston Hope Smith
Immigration: Senate Committee
This month will not be remembered of its Presidency or even The Committee, it will be remembered by the choices we will make in the future. Our legacy will not be monuments or wiki pages in eIrish history; It will be the common betterment of eIrish society and eIreland as a whole. Thank you.

There are lofty expectations, and many doubters just waiting for you to fail, Mike. Don't screw this up.
I have confidence you can do the job, if you can stay on an even keel. When you are talking to people, just don't overreact. If you get on tilt, and react emotionally, you can really hamstring the nation. people are going to push your buttons to evoke such a reaction. Do not let them do it.
Committee: You guys are responsible for holding Mike's leash, you will have to be vigilant. Trolls are going to come at him, and you guys need to keep him under control. I expect at least one of you present for any diplomatic discourse with a foreign powers.
Everyone Else: Give Mike a chance. Don't jump to the conclusion that he will be a bad CP. Judge him by his actions this month, not by your preconceptions of him.
Mike, the nation's eyes are on you... don't fall flat on your face.
