Dell, you should always hold fire until you hear orders. Furthermore, you should wait as late a spossible to fight, in case we need to change orders mid-day

Emerick, Being Joe-Nobody, I'm glad that it took this long for me to get that advice.

waiting until 4:30 for battle orders essentially says to the 2-clickers on the east coast : "we don't need your help". If Texas falls, this will be why.

So why is there only 2 battles up each time. There is always three battles going on. Do we just let them have the other battle?

I agree, initial battle orders for the day need to be put out earlier in the day. Even if things change mid day, another post can always be put out with the updated battle orders.

Also there is four battles going on today. Should we just let russia and Portugal take the other two states. We need to strike against the enemy! I know that they will not let us actually hit them in an offensive because of the battle mechanics but lets throw down some resistance wars in key areas to throw them off balance. I am sure if Indo lost western Australia they would freak out! We can not continue with the current path that much is certain.

Typically, they throw three battles at us to distract us. The biggest battle is easily Texas. We can't lose it. For those of you unsure about best fighting protocol, that is the reason that the Training Division and military branches are so important to our success. It should be common practice for ALL citizens to wait as late in the day as possible to fight ALWAYS, unless instructed to fight near the close of a battle. Additionally, remember that our military branches sometimes take care of smaller battles while the populous racks up points through orders on the largest battle. Let's get a strong wall on Texas everyone! Joshua Hoss for President- a military veteran for success!

Wait till you get orders from command to fight. If it's your last login of the day then fight or if you login and 2 click then fight otherwise don't.

I just visited Texas for business for the first time this Spring.

They sent me to San Antonio.

Before that, my prior knowledge of Texas came from "King of the Hill".

I had a brief opportunity to visit the Alamo. It was an amazing experience-- a lot like going to the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. You can see the bullet holes, and everyone speaks in hushed voices. The sign on the front door of the church says, "Gentlemen, this is a shrine. Please remove your hats."

And they do.

I've never been a fan of Texas before, (in RL I'm from the Northeast) but in a couple days, they won me over.

To those that are complaining that they have already fought in other places:

I understand that you want to assist the eUSA in this horrible invasion, but it has been stated time and time again to wait for battle orders before you fight. If you are sure that you can only login at a certain time and battle orders have not been posted, then please fight in the most logical area. But please keep in mind that if we are to defend the eUSA with maximum efficiency, you must wait for battle orders. It takes time to gather information and calculate a response to widespread attacks.

In summary, either log in once and fight where you see fit, or if you truly care about this eWorld War, log in late in the day and follow battle orders. I encourage anyone who has not joined the military to do so. Please contact me if interested in joining, but be advised that inactive military members are routinely weeded out, so please only join if you are willing to watch the Orders forum and follow command.

When are we going to put someone with real exp in charge, maybe we should recruit someone from Peace.

People fighting 12+ hours before a battle ends is why PEACE and specifically Indonesia constantly win battles with a minimum of tanking.

Indonesia spends much much less gold than you think, simply because they have an excellent communications system and they hit battles with an hour or less of time remaining. Day 1 fighting is one thing, but if a battle will end before the clock rolls, then do not fight unless it is 2 hours of less, preferably with 1 hour or less to go.

If a battle ends at 5am, wake up and fight at 4am, if it ends at 3pm, sign in at 2pm and fight... Tanking and 2-clickers dont win battles, large scale coordinated military attacks win battles.

Hell yeah!! I agree with Willy. It would be more convenient if the orders were given at the beginning of the day when most people log on to train, work and fight 🙂

Can anyone venture a guess on how much Indocornholes spent on invading Texas?

Even a noob like me could tell that Texas is the most important place to fight... you just don't mess with it. Period.

I have things going on at night usually, so it's not always possible for me to wait until 5 or 6 to fight. Usually i can guess what the most tactically important regions are, but it would still be nice if someone were to post orders during the day at some point. As David C said, they could always post a second set of orders if things change.

IMO...orders should go out early in the morning even if they are to hold fire.....

The timing of the orders is just right. I'm seeing to many Americans using their fire way too early.
Wyoming is gone but since the game won't call it for another 4 hours, there is a little time. But the priority should be Texas.

Sometimes a player just can't get on later in the day. Its irresponsible to issue orders so late. Even if it is better tactically for someone to fight later in the day, not issuing orders until the afternoon cuts out a huge portion of players out, specifically those who play from work or live on the east coast.

I took a late afternoon flight today and checked repeatedly for orders beforehand to no avail. I just got internet access to check but I wouldn't have been surprised if I'd not had the time or ability. It especially wouldn't be something I'd be too worried about if I were a two-clicker.

I hope this is just an oversight and the DoD orders will be issued earlier. Its in eMerica's best interest to do so and it is this papers responsibility to do so.

The battle is not going to change as long as the the war mechanic's module is set up to be used for a one sided battle. As long as they can keep retreating and attacking theres nothing you can do to turn a one sided war around. I will keep fighting and waisting my time but, its really getting boring. And this is going to make alot of players especially the new ones to just quit and play something else. Unless they are on the winning one sided side.

I agree and told the admins this. They said they are reviewing the matter, whatever that means. We have to win every battle without them retreating, which is not possible.

as wall in texas was too high Indonesia retreat from Texas and started attack again. To lower wall.

Here is fail in game rules. If one retreat then MUST be some consequence as it is if battle is lost.
Otherwise it might be endless.

Indo's suck like that, Admins like them, not much we can do.

On the bright side, it's a double-edged sword that we can also use against them if we gain the offensive. And every time they have to renew that battle, they spend more gold, if I'm not mistaken.
