I disagree. We should not have our entire army fight in Greece, as we did yesterday, if it winds up costing us another 3 regions

Perhaps set a wall cap and if its above the cap we should fight somewhere else?

In fact both the walls of central greece and macedonia are already doubled, the amount of fighting that should be there should be minimal, all other soldiers should fight in the USA.

This is right we have lost walls of over 200k before. The orders here are for citizens to fight in Greece. The military has different orders, we are doing our best to defend the most important regions. If you think the cost of weapons is high now, think of what it will be once we lose a high iron region.

It is not worth the time right now when Alabama is about to be lost!

This is legitimate. It is officially linked by one of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on the military forum, there is no need to worry about that. Also, strategically Alabama does not matter as much as Central Greece. Get out of RL thinking and into game strategy.

Alpha Zette, you can move orgs. My DoD paper is in Indo because that org was last there during a Marine deployment where it was buying weapons from a Marine run weapons company in Indonesia. No worries. 🙂

and if you don't want to fight in Greece then wait until your last login and fight if it's looking bad or fight elsewhere such as Spain or Switzerland.

This is not the place to dissagree with the DoD. We were complaining that a lot of war efforts were wasted from the fact that there was no central strategy to follow.
Then we (I was one that asked for it) asked for the daily orders to be posted as early as possible to catch the login window of everybody. We got that.
It is tough to see more and more of our regions taken every day, but we have to rely on the part of our organization that manages the bigger picture. If each one of us decides to do what they personally think is best then that is exactly the kind of chaos that will bring us down...

It is not all of us fighting separately, it's about these orders being ineffectual. A simple edit is all that is necessary

It's not wasted damage, Central Greece is where we should be fighting.

For one, even though the wall looks big, it has to be over 106,504 in order for it to be considered secure. That means it's only (as of this post) about 100,000 points higher than the secure line.

With ample funding, PEACE could tank that down. And we can't afford to lose Greek Iron. The orders are not ineffectual, they're prudent.

I personally agree with you Xavier, the problem is that if our war strategy is being run by the corresponding department and issues certain orders we should not fight the orders back when we dissagree. We should fight to get the department replaced!

The wall in Greece is 200k with less than 5 hours to go but it is under heavy attack. The hole in Alabama is 70k with 2 1/2 hours to go. But if the Army goes to Alabama they can turn that around easily in the last hour...

But still my point is that I am not managing the big picture so my opinion should not count. If we loose Alabama and Central Greece we should fight to get a new Defense Department...

In the meantime I want to fight one more time today! Does somebody know where I can find a gift exchange place? 🙂

To those that question these orders:
A few days ago Canada was lost. Today Canada is reborn with three of her territories. This was done because the US and it's allies fought for Canadain independance. Yes we may sacrifice a state or two, but our alliance stretches across the world. Sometimes an ally's region is more important than our own. When the time comes to fight for a US region our allaince will fight for us in return. If we forsake them, then they won't fight for us when we need them most. Greece's high iron region is more important than Missouri. No iron, no guns, no guns, no fight PERIOD. Anything else is second to this region and asturias, spain.

I do not think anybody is questioning whether we should fight for our allies. I think people are curious as to why we should be fighting in a region where the wall is over 230,000 at the time I am writing this.

Many people do not understand the game mechanics and do not understand when a region is secure. Additionally, the orders eUS DoD is putting out should explain the situation better, so people understand why they need to fight in Greece or wherever it may be.

The orders should look more like the following:

"Fight in (region) until wall reaches (wall level needed to secure region + some leeway to make sure the region isn't being held on by a thread). (Insert reason why we are fighting in this region...i.e. high iron region, blah, blah, blah).

If wall reaches (numerical amount from paragraph 1), then fight in (region) until wall reaches (wall level needed to secure region + leeway).

(Repeat with third region).

Vote/Subscribe for continued updated orders

Military members should wait for orders from their commanders.

On a side note, I attempted to enlist into our military over three weeks ago. I received a msg from Hektor stating they have had a backlog of possible recruits, so it may take longer than usual to put everybody into a training division. That is understandable. However, it has been 18 days, since I received that msg. If our country wants to be more effective, whoever is in charge of this area needs to get their butt in gear.

With a level 1 weapon, I increase damage by more than double. Unfortunately, I normally can only purchase 1 weapon a day if that. Therefore, my battles for the day looks like this: 44, 18, 17, 16, and 15.

Imagine the damage I could do if I was in the military. With even a level 1 weapon for all 5 fights, I would go from 105 attacking damage to approximately 220 attacking damage. That's quite a big improvement, which could be even greater if I had lvl5 weapons.

I am at higher level than you, and started filling out apps at 3 branches...8 weeks ago! Still...no word! I liquidated all my funds when Peace, first, attacked Canada. Ran out 4 days ago...eating Q1 and fighting barehanded...saving up for a new q1 weapon.

Follow the orders even if you disagree with the strategy. The only way eUSA pulls out of this slump is if we act together to pursue a single strategy. If everyone goes off and makes up their own strategy, that is no strategy at all.

There is a time and process for voting - that's the place to disagree and to vote for new leadership if that's what you want. But if you vote with your daily damage, you're wasting it.

Keep it together, eUSA - we've got new leadership, and the fair thing - and the best thing for the eUSA - is to follow that leadership and give its strategy a chance to prove itself.

Also keep in mind that this is an existential war for this country. Losing regions is nothing. Look what happened to Canada. The strategy here should be to preserve the eUSA in a form that gives us a chance to rebuild and to reassert ourselves over time.

I, for one, will consider the new leadership's strategy a success if the eUSA still exists in a month's time without our having to submit to a humiliating treaty that only gives our enemies the opportunity to build strength and wipe us out later.

The military is doing a good job and we will not lose this war. I think its time everyone wised and up and realized that if we have PEACE we must have war.

From what I have read, that region of Greece is our LAST major iron region that we have access to.

This is a very dumb question, I'm sure, but I don't understand how to "read" the wall strength. Am I supposed to look at the number that is above the line, below the line, or what, exactly?

What is the point? They have Spain's treasury and this game doesn't believe in justice. We will fight till the end but with that kind of cash flow we will never see walls as big as the ones to come.

I am praying that this is a lie...but Zoli, seldom, tells large, well published, verifiable lies...preferring to lead the free world astray with half-truths, innuendo and opinion. Continuous publishing of clear lies would have kept his paper from reaching it's subscription level. He stalks...constantly...and STRIKES during the early moments of a new article, or update to a popular paper...with as much truth in his comments, as possible...while being certain tha overall effect will be to de-moralize/discourage good soldiers and citizens.
Worst case scenario? Fast destruction of eUSA...followed by continuous march across eRepublik until current Supreme Commander of PEACE, Feherlofia Koppany is declared..."WINNER OF ENTIRE GAME"!
From there (in lieu of admins stepping in) things would go down hill from there BIG TIME.
